We stayed for a weekend, the hosts are super nice and friendly. It really was like a visit to the grandparents incl. the talks and the good breakfast. The B&B is located central to reach Traverse City, the Sleeping Bear Dunes, or Lake Michigan in less than a 30 minutes drive.

This was our first time using an Airbnb property and we can't imagine a better introduction to it. If you're looking for gracious hosts who know the local area inside out and can offer many helpful tips, who serve up delicious cooked breakfasts and good craic with them and the other guests that can easily run on to lunchtime, large comfy beds in which you can have a proper night's sleep, and a big lovable dog to play with out on the porch, then staying with Denise and Peter at Betsie Valley is our top recommendation. After a lot of driving and too many hotels that all tend to blur into one, the many personal and thoughtful touches that made our stay here memorable gave us the perfect wind-down for our trip. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Thank you Lynn and Greig for all the fun and insight that you shared at BV B&B this past week. It was a pleasure to have you here and hope your journey back to Scotland was a pleasurable one. Also, hope the lighthouse experience was as great as you anticipated. And Greig, I hope you now realize that this is not "Mr T's America". See you soon, we hope. ps we gave up on the import project and bought a Mac!!! Lots of fun!

We enjoyed our stay in the Dublin Room at the Betsie Valley B&B. Pete, Denise, and Finn (their loving dog) were kind hosts and had interesting stories to share. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. It's centrally located between Traverse City (about 25 minutes) and Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Lakeshore (30-45 minutes depending on where you're going), which was a major selling point for us.

The breakfasts that Denise prepared were out of this world. You won't find breakfast anywhere that would compare. Peter was an absolute delight to sit and talk to. He was very helpful with directions and information about the area.

I have just returned from one of my best holidays. I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable and comfortable time than I had with Peter and Denise. The decorations were marvelous, the food was superb and the company fabulous.

We love music, art, and helping our visitors to enjoy the northern Michigan woods and the simple pleasures which abound at Interlochen. We have two sons, both accomplished musicians, who attended the Interlochen Center for the Arts.
