My friends and I were coming to Miami for a relaxing time. Days before I informed the host we would be arriving late. He asked for my parties information so we could check in at the front desk. We get there at like 12am and the front desk gave me the hardest time. They would speak In English then speak in Spanish it was almost like they didn't want us there that's how they made us feel. Finally after 45 mins of waiting they talked to the host and I guess they straighten stuff out. We went to park the car in the garage and it was horrible they didn't have signs to point you in the direction to the elevator. During our search to the elevator there was a recently burnt car in the garage, we new from that this was not going to be a good experience. We finally made it upstairs the door was left unlock so we could get in. Opened the door to find that the pictures online was taken to make the apartment look good. The apartment was horrible. The bathroom was a mess the shower was full of mold and had bugs in it. Kitchen sink had ants crawling around ants were on the floor. I have never been so upset in my life. This was not how we pictured our stay. Long story short I called Airbnb the next morning I provided picture and video documentation and we received a full refund and ended up staying at the Marriott on the beach. Santiago nice person but needs to renovate his apartment.
