Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Private bungalow. Solar powered. The bungalow also has Satellite high speed internet A Bahamian laid back vibe styled bungalow on our hillside property with gardens. Breathtaking Carib sea views and sunsets. Swimming and snorkeling is a brief walk down the hill to the sea. The Atlantic Ocean and pink sand beaches are a 10 minute walk. We are located in the center of Eleuthera and the Settlement of Governors Harbour is a 10 minute drive.
The space
A 1 Bedroom Bungalow with kitchen and outdoor dining on patio with beautiful sea views and garden A perfect spot for star gazing at night. Bungalow is completely SOLAR.. no power, NO PROBLEM !
A trundle bed is located in living room area for additional sleeping area if required. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker. There is AC and ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. There is a high speed internet-starlink, WIFI, TV, DVD player, and beach towels are provided.
There is parking on property. We are eco friendly and SOLAR operated and you will always be able to take a shower, make dinner and relax and watch the stunning sunsets as you may be on a out island but nothing should be "out" at the bungalow!
Swim, Snorkel & Explore. The Caribbean Sea is just a short walk down the hill from the bungalow. Bring your snorkel and discover the beautiful clear waters surrounding Eleuthera.
We also have two kayaks that guests can enjoy,, weather and sea conditions permitting.
Beautiful Atlantic beaches are also nearby. From the Bungalow you can easily explore both the Caribbean and Atlantic sides of Eleuthera.
Depending on the season, you may find fresh bananas, papayas, sugar apples and other tropical fruit growing on the property.

Guests are also welcomed to the Gazebo on the front lawn for morning coffee or dolphin watching or stargazing. Wake up to Caribbean Sea Views, enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by our garden and end the day watching the sun disappear over the water from your private patio. The bungalow is designed for couples, friends or a small family looking for a peaceful place to stay while exploring Eleuthera.
Other things to note
Owners live full time on the property with their 5 cats. There is a vegetable garden, bananas, sugar apples and dillies are abundant on the property for the picking! The owner has a 21ft sailboat which is moored 15 minutes away in a beautiful cove at Alabaster Bay,,, Ask us about available sailing opportunities during your stay weather conditions permitting, There are also kayaks at the property for your use.
The Government of the Bahamas requires all Short Term Vacation Rentals to collect VAT (Value Added Tax) of 10% for all rentals shorter than 45 days.

The Bungalow is located in Oceanview Heights just North of Governors Harbour. The Bungalow offers stunning views of the Caribbean side, The property has a vegetable garden and native fruit trees papaya, bananas and sugar apples. Snorkeling is a walk away down the hill and the Atlantic is a 10 minute walk or drive to the pristine beach. You will never have to worry about taking a shower after a fantastic day on the beach or relaxing in the evening as the Bungalow is completely solar powered and even though you may be on a out island nothing should be "out" at the Bungalow.

Hello my husband Bruce and I live full time in Governors Harbour with our 5 rescued cats and our sailboat. I am originally from Arizona and Bruce is from NJ. We resided on the island of Manhattan for many years but the island of Eleuthera has been our home for the last 14 years. We hope to see you soon in Eleuthera... and psst dont tell anybody!
