The suite is self contained with private bath and 2 adjoining rooms with both a king and a queen sized bed, seating area, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster oven, and table for two. We are opening our home to guests and hope/expect that you will respect our property. We are a smoke free property. Since we are a small homestead with a barn, animals, and hay; cigarettes and their smelly fire hazard are not conducive to our happy, healthy and safe home.
We also ask that you not invite guests onto our property without prior consent from us. We welcome beer and wine to be responsibly consumed by guests over 21 years of age.
Although our animals love humans and human food; including your fingers, clothing etc, these are not a great diet for our furry family. Goats like to chomp down on objects put near their mouths, please make sure that's not your hand. Also, the fencing is electrified it's not a show of coolness nor strength to see how long one can hold the fence, regardless of what the house teenagers tell you.
Finally, we ask that you have fun, laugh, eat good food, and enjoy this beautiful part of the Maine coast.

I am a happily married woman with two fantastic teenage daughters. I love cooking, wine, traveling, animals, and gardening.
I have been in the restaurant industry for 25 years, I'm even married to the industry, my husband is a chef.
We have a very close group of family and friends that we travel with, cook for, and drink wine with (yes, there is a pattern to my life). I have always had the home that is open to our friends, so hosting on AirBnB is basically a no-brainer for me.
