This is a great place to stay if you're trying to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. I didn't have any cell reception the whole stay, but I really enjoyed that. Corinne was very easy to deal with and was very quick to answer any questions I had. She also had a lot of suggestions on activities and places to eat. The house itself was very cozy and and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and cooking utensils. So no need to bring your own. The back deck was huge and the hot tub was a bonus. My friends and I spent most of our time out there. The bedrooms were nice and large with the exception of the room with the two "double" beds, which were actually two twin sized beds. Other than that, our stay was amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay in the house and was a good place for winding down after our road trip. The house was clean and cozy and has everything you need. The deck is huge and good for hanging out. The hot tub is a nice touch. It's a short walk from Flea Beach which was cool to explore but not a whole lot do there as it's a small beach. It's a short drive to Sooke which is a nice town where you can go crabbing. You can pretty much get everything you need at the Village Food Market. Just need a license and good to go.

Our stay at Corinne's was great. Being so close to the ocean and short walking distance to Flea beach was one of the reasons why we chose this location. The living area was spacious and there was plenty of kitchen items to use to make our own meals. Jacuzzi was a plus too! The only small issue was the size of the washroom in the lower unit. The shower and toilet didn't have much clearance so it made it difficult to move around. Besides the small issue, I'd stay there again.

Our family (three adults and four kids) had a great stay. The area is quiet enough to feel private and relaxing, but plenty of people around so you don't feel isolated either. Walking distance to two sweet beaches and historic lighthouse, which was great for the lazy days. We were also easily able to explore the area from Sooke through to Port Renfrew by car. The house is definitely more of a cottage, but was well equipped and served as s great spot to unwind after busy adventure-filled days.

Such a nice place. A short walk down and across the street to a beautiful secluded beach that only a couple other people showed up. Great for throwing a frisbee around when the tide is out. We brought badminton rackets and there was a nice big yard to play on. Big kitchen table and picnic table that was really great for meals and for playing boardgames. We brought our own but they had cards and rummy and clue. Hot tub was really nice, and that deck is so nice for socializing. The wifi was good. I saw a few reviews that people said the downstairs suite smelled like cat urine but it's actually just a smell of the hot tub. We just opened the door and window. It was fine while we were there so maybe it the hot tub smell is only if the suite isn't used for a bit? They have speakers with a auxiliary chord so anyone could plug in their iPhone to play music. A kitchen with all the kitchen supplies you'll need. Lots of towels. We had a really great time and loved the place.

Corinne's house is a little gem - a beautiful and cozy wooden house with 3 bed rooms and lovely views. We felt at home from the first moment. Our three kids loved the hot tub on the terrace. Communication with Corinne was great and she made check in and check out very easy. We would definitely recommend Seastar and would come back any time!

Great place for exploring the west coast of Vancouver Island. The deck and hot tub were very nice additions to our stay.
