A light, spacious room with a comfy double bed and private bathroom over looking St Michael's Mount in the historic village, Marazion. A few minutes walk from a secluded cove, beautiful sandy beaches and SW coastal path. Breakfast tray included.

Description

The space

Chy An Gwel offers a lovely airy room with a modern retro feel. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with bottled spring water and locally made biscuits. There is a private bathroom with power shower and organic toiletries. A simple breakfast tray of croissant and fruit is included should you require.

Guest access

Guests have access to the double room, private bathroom, balcony and front garden, and a private off-road car parking space at the rear of the property.

Interaction with guests

I am very happy to provide you with information and directions to local attractions , places to visit and eat. I love to hear from my guests how their day was...if they feel like chatting! I also respect some guests prefer privacy.

The neighbourhood

Only a few minutes walk from Chy An Gwel, you will find some great pubs and restaurants. I can highly recommend Delicious for yummy breakfasts and lunches or Jordan,s open all year! Ben's Cornish Kitchen (winner of the Cornwall Life Food & Drink Award 2014) and The King's Arms for Sunday lunch! There are countless eateries in the local area, art galleries,beautiful gardens and plenty of local attractions to visit. A short stroll will take you into the village of Marazion and St Michael's Mount. When the tide is out you can walk across the ancient causeway to the island or catch one of the little ferry boats. Penzance is a short drive from Marazion , a traditional seaside town with a lively harbour, pavement cafes with panoramic views across Mount's Bay.

Getting around

The bus station in Penzance a couple of miles away runs buses to Sennen, St Just, Lands End & St Ives. There are frequent buses a couple of minutes walk from Chy An Gwel to Penzance & Helston. The mainline train station in Penzance also has a local service to St Ives & Truro.

Other things to note

Travellers who are unaccustomed to Airbnb please be aware that Chy An Gwel is not a traditional Guest House/hotel , it's my home. Please read my listing so you are happy I'm providing what you are looking for and that we are a good fit. I work from home a good deal. My house is situated a couple of minutes away from a beach and the South West Coastal path.


House Rules
Check-in is after 5PM

No smoking in the house please, feel free to smoke outside on the balcony. A breakfast tray is included which is served in your room. There is no kitchen access as it forms part of the space I work from.
Check In is from 5pm and Check Out 9.30am. No pets. A key can be provided should you be returning late in the evening and I'm out.
