Interaction with guests

I or a member of my household will be available to greet you and provide helpful tips on visiting Santa Fe. I give my guests the space and privacy they desire, but am also available when needed. With advance notice, I can provide guests with guided outings to local galleries and artist studios, the Santa Fe Opera, chocolate shops and spectacular locations for hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and mushroom foraging.

Other things to note

Breakfast bagels or muffins, yogurt, coffee, juice and an assortment of teas are provided the first morning of your stay. You are also welcome to use 2 guest passes that provide unlimited free admission for two adults to 5 Santa Fe museums: Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, Museum of International Folk Art, New Mexico History Museum, Palace of the Governors and New Mexico Museum of Art.

Santa Fe is located in the high desert of Northern New Mexico at an elevation of 7,200 ft. We enjoy low humidity and moderate to seasonal temperatures ranging from 52 to 85°F in the Summer, 35 to 65°F in the Spring and Fall, and 18 to 45°F in Winter. New Mexico has a mild, semi-arid climate characterized by abundant sunshine. The summer monsoon season usually brings brief but dramatic thundershowers in late afternoon, while winter snowstorms alternate with long stretches of sunny, cloudless days. Layers of clothing are extremely important during all times of the year as high desert temperatures fluctuate between the day (warmer) and the night (colder).

It was a lovely cosy casita as described and very close to town. Caterina kept in touch everyday to make sure we had everything. We will definitely return on our next visit to Santa Fe. We would highly recommend the cosy Casita to other guests.

We really enjoyed Caterina's casita and all that it has to offer. Some of our favorites were the patio for breakfast, casita entwined with Santa Fe culture, and easy walking to the plaza. We look forward to returning to take advantage of all Caterina's suggestions and recommendations. One of the top air bnb places we have stayed in our last 5 years.

We had such a lovely four days at Caterina's Casita. She greeted us as soon as we got there, and provided items for breakfast for the next couple days. She gave us passes for some of the museums and had great restaurant suggestions. When we had a couple thunderstorms she kindly offered suggestions for things to do when it was raining. The location is handy to everything, and I would definitely stay there again!

My favorite thing about Caterina's place was the private patio with lots of happy birds. A very nice, secluded place to relax from our busy vacation schedule. The location is really good too. Caterina was welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. Unfortunately, we left really early in the morning and could not take advantage of the continental breakfast that she offered to us. Could not use the museum passes either and that would have been a lot of fun! Thanks for the offer Caterina.

I enjoy being a member of the Airbnb community. Whether hosting or traveling, I deeply appreciate meeting and learning from people from all over the world. I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently and have some conversational ability in Italian.

As a host, I am committed to supporting your visit to Santa Fe, whether for work or pleasure. I am happy to recommend special places to eat, shop, hike, ski, snowshoe, soak and explore in and around Santa Fe. If arranged in advance, I can provide guests with unique in-town and out-of-town experiences (e.g., Gallery and Artist Studio Visits, an Evening of Spanish Tapas Hopping, XC Ski/Snowshoe Outings, Mushroom Foraging followed by a Garden Patio Dinner, Tailgate Picnic Nights at the Opera). Just let me know your interests and I will be happy to create and guide a memorable experience in our Land of Enchantment, tailored just for you.
