House on a hill with beautiful views. Rooms lead off a sunny atrium that is a great place to eat or relax. Also a snug sitting room with log fire.
Offa's dyke nearby and many tracks for a cycling holiday. Or just to be. Other rooms also for 6 more.
Our location is on the border of Wales so great for castle rising, biking or walking in Wales.
Many people come for family occasions and events or just to slow down and enjoy nature in all her beauty.
You have access to the basement with food preparation area, the snooker table and squash court. There is a large atrium that is a good place to relax or to eat. A sitting room is off the atrium and has a log fire.
There are nice grounds and gardens to explore, two ponds and a picnic area on the top of the hill.
Interaction with guests
We will help in any way we can to make your stay homely and successful.
Other things to note
We have a workshop if you are on a cycle holiday as there may be maintenance you need to do. Also a sauna - we could make arrangements for its use at a small charge.
You will be our house guests, and I am sure you will be kind and thoughtful to all staying here. You are welcome to use our sports facilities, (pool table, Squash court, Sauna) if you take care and accept a small charge for the sauna. Breakfast is self-service but this gives you advantages of flexibility and having some limited cooking facilities.
We have a workshop you can use for bike repairs.
Stairs are steep so this is not the most suitable room we have for some (and kitchen facilities are two floors down).
