Sublime! Cairneyhill is peaceful and unbelievably scenic, with a fantastic location for walking to Pitlochry’s conveniences and its hiking paths, and Alison was a wonderful host. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious, comfortable and private, with all you need for spending a lazy day inside or resting up after a day of hiking the stunning landscape. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat and give it my highest recommendation.

Alison's space is fantastic. Her garden is magnificent and it is within walking distance to so much in the beautiful Pitlochry area! Alison was also extremely accommodating; she had no trouble with our late arrival. Do stay here! We certainly will again.

Alison has really thought out hosting AirBnB very well and is aided by plenty of private space for guests in a set-up at the top of one (beware low ceiling) flight of stairs. The bedroom is very large and accommodates a very comfortable, warm, king-sized bed, hanging space in cupboards, storage drawers and a dinning table for having a private self catered continental breakfast, with all ingredients supplied. She provided us with juice, a wide range of cereals, croissants and delicicious strawberries and bananas, apples and citrus each morning. There is an electric jug and a selection of teas, coffees and hot drink options on the table and a favourite of ours, a tea pot! There are also some choclates and oat biscuits as well. There is a TV and DVD player and a selection of contemporary DVD movies as well as a large collection of pamphlets on the area and some reference books on Scotland and its history. The bathroom is huge with a full sized bath, quality plumbing and a chair to sit on as well as another stool to put bathing items on. The space was amazing compared with some previous accomodations. The view over the town with the curtains opens is lovely! Alison also has a lovely garden and the area around the house is very quiet and pleasant. The main street is 5 minutes walk and every night we were in Pitlochry, we both had lovely meals at either pubs or restaurants. The surrounding district is fantastic and we had full days exploring natural and historical attractions and could of spent much more time at Alison's. Finally Alison is a great host, a lovely person and very knowledgable about the local and even national Scottish attractions, ecology and places to visit. We loved chatting with her and she genuinely took care of us (she even did our washing!). We both recommend her and would go back to her place without question, if we were returning to the Pitlochry area.

A really lovely stay, and a very generous and helpful host! The room is beautiful and kept very clean, and it's really nice to have your own breakfast laid out with endless amounts of tea! Perfect location - tucked away from the main street but only a few minutes walk away. Thanks for a great stay, I enjoyed our many chats and I'll definitely be back. Can't recommend enough!
