The oldest part of Grade 2 " listed Barham Court dates from .1400, while the current facade was built in 1723. The house and garden were renovated by famous architect Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1911, and beautiful countryside is right on your doorstep

The space
Beautiful Barham Court is a stunning well preserved example of English heritage. At the centre of the house is a large paneled dining hall with fireplace. From the entrance hall you proceed through the piano room to the grand central hallway, with wood panels and sweeping staircase. Upstairs are the living quarters with modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. Arguably, the highlight of the house is the garden and terrace , which we encourage our guests to use as much as they like. The house is in the heart of the village but with direct access to beautiful countryside.

Guest access
The guest accommodation comprises a pair of adjoining rooms witin the main house. The master bedroom with double bed is accessed via a large "dressing room", with a single bed (plus additional mattress/cot available if required) for additional guests or children). There is a comfortable seating area and large TV No extra charge for children under 3. Sole use of the large guest bathroom which is just across the corridor , . Guests may also make use of the hall, piano room, and all outside area. There are tea and coffee masking facitites in the room and facitiles for heating food . Feel free to challenge us to croquet in the garden.

During your stay
We love meeting new people, so feel free to spend as much time enjoying the surroundings at home as you please. If you'd like privacy, your rooms are your own haven with TV and internet. Occasionally we may have our grown-up children and grandchild staying, with their friendly dog, Pippin. Kate has excellent local knowledge and loves to help guests plan their excursions to get the most out of their time here

Other things to note
We have a selection of bicycles (some old, some new) you may use to explore the local area, plus walking and cycling maps to help you explore the countryside
