Description

Great room with a view of the iconic Story Bridge, really comfy bed, continental breakfast included, late check out & Wifi. An amazing view over looking the city, free ferries to the city & Eagle St restaurant district, south bank & New Farm park.

Rooms got everything you need, great comfy bed with feather pillows, new sheets and towles, wifi access to our cloud with 100's of movies and TV shows. A ceiling fan for the warm summer nights and a heater if needed in winter, but the room is very comfortable.

It's a 3 bed apartment, with one shared bathroom and separate toilet. Lounge and kitchen/dining area, with a great verandah over looking the river/city and Story bridge.

We're quite happy for you to do what ever you please, if you want to hang out in the lounge you can, or just chill out in your room.

There's also a pool and bbq area in the complex that your welcome to use, more so in summer.

Here to make your stay more enjoyable, and between us we have a great knowledge of things to do, where you need to eat, what cool bars, clubs to check out - what ever it is you're into, we're bound to be able to help.

We both work and have pretty busy social lives, but while we're around feel free to have a chat, and get to know our beautiful city a bit better!

There's the Iconic Story Bridge Hotel literally across the rd, it's a 10 min walk t or a $6 Uber into the Fortitude valley entertainment precinct, where you'll find all the action of Brisbane's hottest night life.

There's a river walkway to South Bank and River life, where you can kayak the Brisbane river, take a Segway Tour, or go on the Story Bridge Adventure climb.

Catch a free ferry across the Eagle St restaurant precinct, housing Brisbane's most exclusive restaurants and bars, or if you'd prefer stay on a bit longer and wind up at New Farm Park for a stroll through the rose gardens.

Best mode of transport is the ferry system from here, it'll take you into the city, to South Bank, New Farm park and it's absolutely free. The city hoppers (the red ones) run every 30 mins, from 2 stops that are within 5 mins of the apartment.

Alternative there are buses to the Gabba football stadium, and into the city to all major Bus and Train stations within 5 mins.

Uber is also very easy in this area, you'll generally get a car within 7 mins. And there are Taxi ranks at the pub across the road from us.

If you have a car, we have Visitor Parking Permits - that allow you to park for free on the street at anytime. There is visitor parking out the back, but please only use this for bag drop offs - parking permits are on the fridge!

Oh and there's also bikes you can hire just across the rd, if you'd prefer to cycle the city.

As far as the kitchen, we're happy for you to use it to cook at any time, just please clean up straight afterwards. Also please feel free to use any spices, there's fresh herbs growing on the verandah you're welcome to.

House Rules
Check in is anytime after 2PM

We're pretty relaxed tbh, just respect the house, don't go crazy, and please respect the other people that live in the complex - especially when using the pool or BBQ area.

Clean up after yourself, respect the house - and most importantly, enjoy your stay!

The place is very close to the Bus and Ferry and you can be at the Central Station to go to the Airport in minutes. The best thing to get to know the City and get oriented is to take the Hop on Hop off. In the City there are all kind of Restaurants for all Budgets.

Great location and amazing views but there was no milk, bread or fruit available for the included continental breakfast so frustratingly I had to buy my own.

Response from Solomon:
Apologies Kiara, I had explained I was travelling from Japan and then Melbourne, but you're right should have gone out and got the breakfast things sorted out for you when I got back. It's sometimes hard with the amount of travel my flat mate and I do to keep on top of things. However, duly noted and will make amendments so that future guests receive a better service. Thanks for the feed back

Sol's place was great! The views are amazing, the ferry across the river is easily accessible, good restaurants and stores are within walking distance. He was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him. Would highly recommend staying here.

We had a really pleasant stay. The flat has a gorgeous view across the river and the journey into the city centre was so quick with the ferry! Still amazed it's for free. I would definitely recommend staying there!

The appartment is great! Very clean, comfortable and it's a great place to explore Brisbane with the ferry we really enjoyed our stay and the view is absolutely amazing! The only point is that the road is a little bit noisy but it was no problem for us. Great Appartement and nice host! Thanks Sol

Hi,

My name is Sol, I'm 33, Australian and live in Brisbane.

I'm very a fun, outgoing, happy, positive person, clean, tidy and respectful of others.

I love travelling, exploring new places and meeting new people.

I couldn't live without my friends and family, and cold beer :)

I'm into heaps of sports, surfing, wake boarding, snow boarding, golf, tennis and going to the gym.

I like cooking, reading, studying, technology.

I live with my friend / flat mate - Travis. We've been using Air BnB when travelling and have been hosting for Air BNB for about just under 2 years. It's great, we get to meet heaps of rad new people and make connections all over the world.

We're both very laid back, and just want our guests to enjoy themselves, whether that's having a beer on the verandah and taking in the spectacular view, or going for a walk/jog along the beautiful river walkway. We'll do our best to accommodate you :)
