About this listing
Lovely studio in beautiful historic Tucson neighborhood, near the university, Arizona Inn, downtown. Private and quiet, but near all the action and easy access to hiking, biking, entertainment, and cultural activities. Near streetcar and buses.
Our studio is located on the site of an historic, mid-century modern Tucson home, built by and for, one of the city's premier builders in 1946. Cozy and bright, the studio includes a kitchenette, nice bathroom, and comfortable sleeping area. It's air-conditioned (and heated), has access to free laundry facilities, and includes a patio with a grill and open backyard.
The bed is a "pop-up" trundle with two twin-size beds that can be connected. It can be configured as either a single twin, two twins, or a king. The mattresses are memory foam. When set up as a king bed, the sleeping area is tight, but maneuverable.
Guests will have full access to their studio (opened with a push-button lock - no key to carry around!), and the large private backyard area. There's also off-street parking.

Our neighborhood is in a historic district, in an area of Tucson with palm-tree lined streets and historic homes, very close to the university and the world-famous Arizona Inn.
We are 3/4 of a mile from the streetcar, and close to several bus lines. Easy to get to from the airport, as well.
Other things to note
There is off-street parking.
We are a non-smoking, no-drugs, household with a cat (who does not go in the studio!). We're quiet and professional and always enthusiastic about sharing our love of Tucson.
