Description

The space

Our studio is located on the site of an historic, mid-century modern Tucson home, built by and for, one of the city's premier builders in 1946. Cozy and bright, the studio includes a kitchenette, nice bathroom, and comfortable sleeping area. It's air-conditioned (and heated), has access to free laundry facilities, and includes a patio with a grill and open backyard.

The bed is a "pop-up" trundle with two twin-size beds that can be connected. It can be configured as either a single twin, two twins, or a king. The mattresses are memory foam. When set up as a king bed, the sleeping area is tight, but maneuverable.

Guest access

Guests will have full access to their studio (opened with a push-button lock - no key to carry around!), and the large private backyard area. There's also off-street parking.

Interaction with guests

Either I or my husband will be available in-person or by text throughout your stay.

The neighbourhood

Our neighborhood is in a historic district, in an area of Tucson with palm-tree lined streets and historic homes, very close to the university and the world-famous Arizona Inn.

Getting around

We are 3/4 of a mile from the streetcar, and close to several bus lines. Easy to get to from the airport, as well.

Other things to note

There is off-street parking.

I'm lucky to have called this lovely studio my home for the 3 months I was assigned in Tucson as a travel nurse. The bright colors and the cozy vibe made me feel at home. The studio is equipped with great amenities. I recommend drinking a cup of coffee on the patio or walking around the neighborhood (safe). Sara and Linnus are wonderful hosts. Not only are they easy to communicate with, they are a very friendly couple. They made sure I had a pleasant stay, at the same time provided privacy. Overall, a wonderful Airbnb experience.

The Casita was the perfect place for me to stay. I was clean, spacious and provide all of the basic amenities. Sara and Linus were great hosts and were very good with communication. I was visiting the area for an interview and location was close to U of A. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking to visit Tucson.

I enjoyed the studio the backyard is beautiful. I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and there was a park down the street for my grandkids. I would stay again

My stay here was great! I had an interview at the medical center, and the location was perfect. The studio had everything I needed and was very clean. I didn't have a chance to meet Sara in person, but she messaged me during my stay and made sure my questions were answered and my stay was going well. I would definitely stay here again.
