Absolutely loved this place! The house is beautifully furnished, very clean, and equipped with everything you could need. The beds are fabulously comfortable, it’s quiet, and all three bedrooms have blackout blinds - invaluable with kids! The Portuguese croissants and wine were a lovely welcome treat. And that’s just inside the house... it’s right on an amazing stretch of beach, in a small fishing village. The beach is clean and endless. There are rock pools and a bay where it’s safe to paddle. Several good restaurants and bars within couple of minutes walk, along with supermarket, fishmongers, bakery,... train station is only 8 min walk away, with regular trains to Porto (about 30 mins). We loved the wooden walkways through the dunes that go along the beach for kilometers in both directions. We also loved that there was no need to rent a car: airport is 30min taxi ride away. Really a great house and location - we’d love to come again.

Step out of this lovely house and you are right on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in Europe. There are places to surf, or if you prefer something a little less energetic, there are little rock pools with slightly warmer water at low tide. There is also a wooden walking track that goes up and down the beach for miles - great for walking or running. Cafes, supermarkets, the fish shop, bakery and restaurants are all around a five minute walk away from this fantastic beach front house. Communication with the hosts was efficient and helpful. The house was spotless when we arrived. We will definitely be going back.

The house is located almost in a beach, near bars, shop, fish market, bakery, swim pool and so on. There is also a train station about six minutes from the house, thanks to it you can easily go to Porto (20 minutes). Amelie’s house is arranged in very comfortable way, where you can feel like in home. The house is exactly like in review. Amelie and her neighbor Daniela are the best hosts you can imagine. If we’ll decide to return to nearby of Porto we will go to this house. Thank you very much for brilliant holidays and unforgettable sunsets.

It was a lovely and ideal place for us to stay. It had all we needed for a perfect holiday for me, my husband and three kids. Amelia was like a profesional, and we had a super stay. We would love to come back to the house.

The House is located directly at the end of the beach, so you feel like on holidays 24/7. It is really big and easily 2 or even 3 families could feel comfortable there. The surroundings is really lovely, there are no crowds at the beach, not a lot of tourists in the village, great place to rest. There are couple of tapas bars, two restaurants, two shops and a bakery really near. It is easy to park a car next to the house. Trip to Porto takes around 15 minutes. Amelia is fantastic host, she provided quick feedback each time we had questions. Daniela, who leaves next door was also very helpful on the spot and super friendly. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend the place.

This house sits right on the boardwalk steps away from the beach. It was a perfect location to relax and just a short train ride into Porto to spend time in the city.

As soon as we arrived at the house, we knew that we'd found something special. We could hear the waves rolling to shore no more than 100 meters behind us, and the beach wasn't crowded at all even though the weather was lovely. Inside the house was a living room with comfy couches, a kitchen with enough room to prepare meals for all five of us (the knives were fabulous!). Thanks to the nice decorations it felt less like staying at a hotel and more like visiting friends. Pedro's father even gave us some vegetables and herbs grown in his own garden! Amelie and Pedro left the house prepared as if it was for friends. They left some food and drinks and the idea was for us not to have to buy everything but to refill when we finish or buy something else, for future guests. It was great and very uncomplicated. They also left a very useful description of the surrounding area and where to go shopping or to go out for dinner. Our neighbours to our left, Daniela and Rui, the owners of a cozy local cafe, were happy to chat and offer help when needed. The train station was easy to reach, about five minutes by foot, and the market was even closer. We recommend the restaurant Ciao Bella (great pizza) and the freshly caught fish. We had a wonderful family holiday and highly recommend a stay here. The host Amelie is fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, and service and answers to questions were always very prompt. We would all love to return one day - thank you Amelie!
