My girlfriend and I stayed with Caitlin for our first visit to NYC, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The apartment was very clean and well-decorated, and the room and bed were both as large and comfortable as described! The room also definitely has great transit access. Caitlin was very accommodating of our preferred check-in and check-out times, and in fact we never actually met - instead, Caitlin's friendly mother met us at the apartment to check us in, and she helpfully provided us with advice about the area and how to get around. Given how responsive Caitlin was in all of our other interactions, I'm sure she would have been happy to meet and chat if we had asked, but we mostly kept to ourselves and often felt as though we had the apartment to ourselves, which we were quite happy about. We also fell in love with her fun and friendly cat. All in all, a very positive experience that I would definitely recommend. An important thing to keep in mind for future guests would be the means by which the room is separated from the rest of the apartment - the "thick curtain wall" described in the listing. While certainly effective at partitioning the room, it's obviously not quite equivalent to a real wall in terms of privacy, which is worth bearing in mind if that's something you absolutely need.

Response from Caitlin:
Thank you for the advice :) glad you had an enjoyable time. I'll be buying a solid black curtain for my next guest. Glad for the feedback!
