Idyllic cottage fantastic location. Short flat walk to golden sands & rock pools on Manorbier beach ( 1 - 2 minutes). View of Norman Castle and 200m from Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. On edge of very pretty village which has Castle, ancient church, tea rooms, pub, village shop, bus links and train station. Own 6 acres running up valley with spring fed lake in field. Wifi, dishwasher, washing machine, flat screen tv, fridge freezer. Dog friendly.

The space
Perfectly placed for a holiday in an idyllic rural location just on the edge of Manorbier village. This gorgeous property is great for family holidays or boutique retreat for couples and friends.
Set in its own 6 acres of land, the valley is grazed by cattle and sheep with a lake, look out for ducklings and Moorhens amongst other wildlife. There are over 26 varieties of moorland herbs, grasses and flowers.
On the edge of Manorbier village, approx 1/4 mile walk to village with well stocked shop, Beach Break tea rooms, The Castle Inn, great beer garden and pub grub. The Castle Mead Restaurant, walk up a short hill (just a small paddock away!)
Tenby 4 miles by road or 6 miles by coast path, similar by boat. Pembroke 5 miles west.
There is wifi, a flat screen tv, dvd player, stereo, dishwasher, washing machine in separate utility, upstairs family bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Large kitchen, living, dining area including oak dining table and big sofa a lovely snug sitting room with book case, board games and tv.
Lovely Manorbier beach, a golden sandy cove with great rock pools, popular with both families and surfers, 2 minutes or less on foot. Spot the dolphins, seals and porpoises from the coast path. Look out of the kitchen or bedrooms onto the majestic C11th Norman Castle.
Shute Cottage was shortlisted for a National Award in Design and Architecture for the renovation and expansion work within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The original dwelling probably dates back to Norman times with a rare stone vaulted ceiling and later addition of a round Flemish chimney. The link from the cottage to the light and spacious extension was built in 2003.

Guest access
The whole cottage, driveway, surrounding garden (approx 1 acre).

Other things to note

Being in Pembrokeshire is great, get plenty of outdoor time with the family on the beaches, coast path, cycling, sea swimming. Love being part of the farming community, enjoy being around all animals and the people that look after them. Also a bit of a foodie, artisan local stuff is fab. Exploring other parts of our lovely Great Britain is always exciting, especially catching up with old friends and the odd trip abroad is always fulfilling too. Life is for living, make the most of it.....
