The space

we are a B & B in the center of Rome, in the heart of the Vatican.
In the same apartment we offer our guests three double rooms with three bathrooms, with names of famous people of ancient times:
Poppea's room (romantic and elegant)
Octavian's room (modern and regal)
Nausicaa's room (warm white)

It is located on the fourth floor of a characteristic building of the late nineteenth century, with lift, in the elegant Prati neighborhood in a strategic position REALLY CENTRAL:

200 meters from the Vatican Museums, 100 Mt from Metro line A Ottaviano San Pietro / Vatican Museums, with which you can reach in 5 minutes the historic center of the city.
In five minutes walk you will find the St. Peter's Basilica and Castel Sant'Angelo, but not only can know the life of this neighborhood living like a true Roman.

You can go shopping in one of the most famous streets in Rome, stroll through the shops of Borgo, turn to the traditional local markets (there are two very close to home, one of the early twentieth century and the other more 'modern). The area is full of typical restaurants where you can taste the real Roman cuisine, make a drink, and even taste the pizza and ice cream so fond of the Romans. In addition, the area offers bookstores, gourmet shops, cinemas, flower market, pubs and much more.
Although located in the center of the city, the area is not limited to traffic, so you can use your car any time.

Nausicaa's room is large (18 square meters) and very bright, overlooking the main street. There are two single beds that can be joined and become beds. Inside the room there is a beautifull design bathroom with a spacious shower, we provide towels and linen. New windows throughout the apartment provide quiet and warm.
Each room is equipped with linen, towels, TV, kettle .
The light and brightness of this home will amaze you and make your stay full of warmth.
For me as a passionate style Shabby Schic, white pickled and old furniture are the hallmark of this home.

ABOUT U.S.: Letizia & Leticia

With the same name and the same zodiac sign-twins-but from geographically distant countries, but similar in culture, we met in Rome.

I am Letizia, Roman in Rome and are happy to open the doors of my house. I'm a soprano, passionate interpreter of Neapolitan songs and Baroque music, who loves art, cooking, travel.

Leticia is Brazilian but instead of Italian heart (especially Roman!), Food and wine journalist is an international correspondent for Brazil. A tireless traveler, curious and passionate about the "sweet life".

The two have traveled the world for work-for-all five continents with their 'small' wealth of experience, will have the pleasure to let you discover that for them this is the most beautiful city in the world!

Leticia says Letizia: Its craze is to have eyes that are always looking for something nice to take home. It can be a flower, a new rug or a beautiful work of art.

Letizia Leticia says: Like all women twins, every day at least think in a new project. His fantasy is to live forever in Rome because there is ice cream melon!

Tell us what you like to do in Rome: art, music, history, shopping, gastronomy? Or just do nothing with a glass of wine in hand watching the sunset and the unique color that is here ...

We had a really good time in Rome, staying in this B&B. The neighbourhood is perfect, close to the Vatican and there is a metro stop around the corner. The room was nice and clean and Litizia was really hospitable and gave us some tips where to go and where to eat. We would defenitely stay here again.

Letizia did not welcome us. We waited two and one half hours for her to find us waiting at her door. I had spoken to her a week prior (telephone call from Fiesole) and she told me early afternoon would be a good checkin time for her. I had also emailed her several times before leaving for Italy and she never answered my emails. The room was much smaller than photos implied. Neighborhood dirty and v noisy. We could not leave the window open at night because of rowdy, noisy people below until very early morning. Letizia did not provide much breakfast. Instant espresso coffee, celaphane wrapped bread, cereal, but no milk.

Letizia was very helpful right from beginning of my contact and welcoming on arrival. Directions were easy to follow. Apartment was better than described, bigger than we thought, very home like, nice touches everywhere. Having the private bath was perfect. Our garbage was taken away each day. Wonderful pastries provided in the morning although coffee machine was difficult to use. The location was absolutely perfect! Short walk to everything, especially the Vatican area. Note, it was very noisy on Friday and Saturday night from outside. Closing windows helps but then a little warm to sleep. We highly recommend staying here.

Diteci cosa vi piacerebbe fare a Roma: arte, musica, storia, shopping, gastronomia? O semplicemente fare niente con un bicchiere di vino in mano guardando il tramonto e il colore unico che c’è qui…
