The dogs are kept in my side of the house and garden.

The space
The house used to be 3 miners cottages. Built in 1860 the house has been tastefully renovated in recent years and made in to one dwelling. There are various seating areas around the garden and an outside dinning area which is available to use if we get nice weather. It is an ideal spot to witness the wonder of the dark skies. On clear night the millions of stars visible are amazing. There are no street lights so no light pollution.

Guest access
From the front door the house has a dinning room and sitting room to the right and upstairs to the right are the two guest rooms and bathroom. My sitting room, kitchen and bedroom are all to the left.
Bikes can be locked in the garage.

During your stay
I have been in the catering business for almost 30 years so can provide a range of meals to suit your dietary requirements. I take my dogs out for regular walks and happy for guests to join me to explore the local area.

Other things to note
The house is surrounded by farmland with sheep and cattle in the fields. This means that the farmer may gather them in or feed them on his quad bike at various times. Unfortunately I have no control as to when he’ll do this, but this is rural life, it’s better than loud traffic noise 😜. The nearest pub and restaurant is 5 minutes by car but not suitable to walk. There are other pubs and restaurants and shops in the surrounding local villages
Whilst my dogs are very well behaved and extremely friendly, they will bark at loud unexpected noises so your cooperation would be appreciated in respect of being considerate if coming in late.
