About this listing
Private bedroom comfortably houses two in the booming neighborhood of Long Island City, Queens. One or two subway stops from midtown, 2 blocks from 6 different trains (E, M, R, N, Q, & 7). Quiet, cozy, and affordable. Perfect for those traveling the world on a budget. Sept 23 - Oct 7
Our apartment is located in the rapidly growing Long Island City. Mere minutes from Manhattan, LIC offers the NYC experience, while still remaining safe, quiet, and affordable. You will share the common areas with 3 extremely kind and hospitable roommates. They will be glad to offer you advice and help if you need it navigating the city. You will also have access to our wi-fi, kitchen, and 50 inch flatscreen. Looking for people from Sept 23- Oct 7 while I am away in London. We rented another room in the apartment this summer with Airbnb and had such an awesome experience. Hoping for a repeat.

Interaction with guests
You will be there with three of the best roommates that ever were. We are all actors and have busy schedules so most likely you won't run into each other all that often. They will be available to meet you and give you your keys and the lay of the land. And they would be glad to assist you with helpful suggestions and directions if you need it.
The best part about our neighborhood is its proximity to everything. It is growing rapidly with new bars and restaurants cropping up everyday, and you are minutes from Manhattan on the E, M, N, Q, R, & 7 trains. You are three or four stops from the hipster paradise known as Williamsburg Brooklyn off the G train. And you can explore the Greek neighborhood of Astoria, Queens two stops away on the yellow line. We are also a $15 cab ride from La Guardia airport, which is extremely convenient as well. LIC boasts such sights as Silver Cup Studios and MOMA PS1 just blocks away from my apartment, and a one mile walk toward the water will bring you to the amazing Gantry State Park where you can check out Manhattan's east side skyline. Breathtaking views. It really is the best of both worlds in LIC. You are a little removed from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city, and will have such a great experience here in my home.
Two blocks either way for Queens Plaza (E, M, R) and Queensboro Plaza (N, Q, & 7). Half a block away from the Q 60, & Q101 buses into Manhattan and the Q102 to Roosevelt Island.
Other things to note
I am a working actor living with three other working actors in NYC. We are very relaxed fun people, and would love to have you!
Please be respectful of the other roommates. We do share common spaces such as kitchen, living room, and bathroom. Late nights are fine, but please keep noise down after midnight. Make sure room is left as you found it.
