A Bosphorus Cruise to see the old castles and pavillons of Istanbul and a ferry cruise to Princess Islands, namely the last stop Buyukada just 1 1/2 hour outside the city where motor vehicles are prohibited is "a must to experience".

In Buyukada; it is as If the time has stopped, you can go around the Island with a horsecar to enjoy the greenwood pinery nature and old pavillons, swim in the sea, biking or hiking around the island are your other alternatives.

The city is alive 24 hours, especially Galata Neighborhood lots of cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs, art galleries, museums, cultural sites, heritage exists.

Dear Izel, It was a pleasure meeting you. And it is certainly a pleasure to say how wonderful our stay in the Istanbul apartment was. It turned out to be exactly as depicted on the website. The living room was good for a family 6 person and comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, the bedrooms luxurious . All was spotlessly clean and the linens and towels generously supplied. Thank you also for support and guide to explore the best part of Istanbul. My only regret is that our stay was far too short! Thank you again,

We had the best experience staying at Doret's House. Ideally located next to Galata Tower - right in the buzz of Istanbul. We felt very welcomed by Izel (Doret's brother) who made sure that we feel comfortable. The apartment was beautifully furnished, cozy, functional and above all clean. Izel was providing us with all information what to do in Istanbul from sights, restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping... I strongly recommend Doret's apartment and I definitely will look for staying there again when I come back to Istanbul. Izel was a great host. Easy to reach and always trying to help and improve our experience. A big thank you!

Izel was very kind and very helpful. He sent us a very detailed recommendation about restaurants and cafes, public transport, turkish baths and sight seeing ideas. The apartment was better than I expected! The apartment is in a busy district, but it is in a quiet street just a street away from the pedestrian street, which is full of nice local shops. Galata tower is just on the corner, there are a lot of very good restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood. The apartment is quite big, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet and the design is modern but rustic. It is very clean and well equipped. I'm in love with Istanbul, and I'm sure if we come back I'll choose this apartment again as accommodation.

The apartment was in a great location and was well equipped and very comfortable. We booked 2 apartments, with our friends staying in the second one and this worked very well. Apartment 2 was on 2nd floor and apartment 3 was on the 3rd floor. Izel was an excellent host and very helpful in showing us all the local amenities.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us in Airbnb community, it was nice hosting you and your friends in our 2 apartments :) For those who are reading this review; Apt#3 is in first floor, think Beth made a mistake while typing.

Honestly, there is no negative feedback all positive. Comfortable apartment, very informative welcome. I am recommending this apartment to any friend that will visit Istanbul. I loved Istanbul but this vacation was made close to perfect because of Doret and Izel. We arrived at the apartment late around 1am but Izel was kind enough to explain the break down, provide a cell phone for use while staying at the apartment and give us a personal tour of the neighborhood. I can honestly say this has been my Best AirBNB experience to date.

We visited Istanbul with our family (3 kids) and stayed for 5 days in the pretty new CasaLoBueno#3 apartment. The apartment is absolutely great: perfect location, the apartment is very very clean, it’s comfortable and everything you need is in the apartment. It’s also located in a quit street. But also the service provided by Izel, the host, was tremendous. We used his airport service, which was perfect. He showed us around in the great (Galata Tower) neighbourhood, showed nice places and restaurants and he provided us with 2 public transport cards, city maps and a local cell phone in case we needed something. He also provide is with lots of interesting insights and places to eat and things to do in Istanbul. We can strongly recommend this apartment when you are visiting Istanbul!

We stayed in Izel's apartment on 2nd floor in Istanbul from May 23 to May 26. Izel was very welcoming and extremely helpful. He was there to receive us at the apartment, helped us acquaint with the area and provided us with the Istanbulkart for public transport which was very useful to get around the city. We have stayed in Apartments through Airbnb for few times now and this is the first time we would have met the host and who was this helpful. House is exactly as per the description and photos and it has everything one would need. Washing machine was missing but Izel helped us with the laundry service. Also the location is fantastic. The tram is 5-7 Minute walk from the house and is connected to most tourist places. Moreover we felt that the shops near the house/galata tower were better than grand bazaar! Reasonably priced and no rush and same variety! Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend Izel house if one is in Istanbul!

I enjoy travelling in and outside of Turkey, and I prefer exploring the cities. (Still exploring Istanbul!) Although I am an amateur, I am enthusiastic about photography; children and architecture being my main subjects.
I like good food and good music, and I know how to find them.

Together with my brother Izel, we have been hosting vacation rentals since 2012 and delighted having built up our global community. Travellers do come in as our guests and return their homes being our friends for life knowing they have a house in Istanbul :)

Professionally, I am an architect specialized in conservation and restoration of old sites.

Looking forward to meeting with new people, I am open to developing new friendships and connections throughout the world.
