The cottage has everything you need, is clean and have enough room. It is the best choice to go with kids as they can play free in the garden. Sue and Roger are very kind and helpful. I recommend it to all who want to spend some days visiting Normandy.

We had a very nice time at Sues lovely cottage in Montpichon. The main house, the cottage, the big flowering garden and the little stream in it, we loved it very much. It was beautiful, very quiet only the bird songs we heard and it was like living in nature as it should be, surrounded by so many high trees, a lovely place to live in! Our Cottage was a great and big place with more than enough room for the four of us to live in. The bedrooms were nice to sleep in, lots of room to put your things in. Everything in the cottage was very clean and everything we needed, also in the kitchen, was there for us. We thank Sue for her hospitality and kindness and our nice contact. The humidity of the cottage was a very tiny little bit a problem because our towels would not dry inside the house. Because the weather was not so nice too, to dry the towels outside, and the place of the house surrounded by so many high trees kept everything nice cool, but did not allow the sun to come in so much. The humidity of the cottage is absolutely not a problem for us that we would not come again, because we certainly love to come back sometime to enjoy the beautiful landscape around this lovely cottage once again.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Montpinchon. Sue was very approachable and hospitable, and very responsive in her communication with us. The apartment was spotless, and furnished to a very high standard. We hadn't fully appreciated the open plan nature of the apartment before booking, and that you need to go through one bedroom/landing area to access the second bedroom. Still we were very pleased with our stay and found it to be excellent value for money. Merci beaucoup Sue!

We had a lovely stay with Sue and Roger - they were very welcoming and made us feel very much at home, both conversationally and by providing basic amenities as well as towels and bed linen. Our cottage was set behind the main ivy-covered Moulin de la Roche building, and it met our every need; the twin-bedded room in which our kids slept on the first night is at the top of the stairs, and the toilet/shower room is only accessible through that room, so we decided on the second night to put have the kids share the master bedroom while my wife and I slept in the twin beds just to ensure we wouldn't wake them, and that was a good decision. Having British Freeview television was very much appreciated; also, the grounds are lovely, and we particularly enjoyed playing boules each evening (with two separate sets of boules provided for us!) on the somewhat sloping pitch. And the village of Cerisy-la-Salle is just up the hill and around the corner, perfect for a quick shop or to get some fresh bread if you don't want to make the longer shopping trip to Coutances. Definitely a place worth seeking out if you fancy a secluded inland retreat centrally located between the D-Day beaches and Mont St-Michel!

My husband, myself and two children spent a lovely couple of days in the cottage. The cottage was beautiful and had everything that we needed. The setting was very peaceful and tranquil which was perfect for our needs. It was lovely to meet Sue and her husband and hopefully we will get the opportunity to return to this lovely place. Would highly recommend Sue's property and the area for those looking to relax and get away from the business of life.
