Good communication and prompt reply. Allowed us to check in early as we arrived on first flight in. You can interact with other guests in the common areas. Our room was private and quiet.

Very confortable, well located near to metro station and restaurants.

I had a private room/shared bathroom. Nice room and quiet. Comfortable bed. I slept good. Monica Yanet's place has everything you would need. They kept the place very clean. A comfortable place to stay. I highly recommend staying there.

Safe area, clean, breezy, great spot to start exploring the city. Stayed here with my girlfriend for one night. Bathrooms were clean, something my girlfriend and I are very particular about, and the bed was comfortable. AC and fan worked great, albeit, bring ear plugs, as the AC unit is loud (not anyone's fault, it's what AC's sound like) Monica was great at advising us on things to do. Definitely WALK down towards the Causeway/Waterfront/Ocean (approx 40 mins to on hour, but with a lot to see and explore along the way). Once down by the ocean, walk towards Casco Viejo (old town) (40mins to 60mins). You can eat at the fish market towards the end of the waterfront trail, with many vendors vying for your business, or you can eat at the rooftop at Tantalo restaurant in Casco Viejo (cheap and great food). Take your time exploring Casco Viejo (1.5 to 2 hours), the architecture is beautiful, and it's got a great vibe. We did this walk along the waterfront trail on Saturday so we saw tons of local families out enjoying life. Tons of small vendors selling all kinds of foods/snacks/treats along the waterfront to make your walk pleasurable. You will be floored at how well the Panamanian government has planned out its (new) City, and what a great job at that. The waterfront is dedicated for the people to enjoy and play (basketball, volleyball, football courts along the waterfront, along with areas to exercise and parks to hang out and people watch or relax). Go to see the Panama Canal (Miaflores Locks) but take an Uber ($9), taxis will be double the cost. Uber to the airport back home will cost you $24 from Monica's apt. Oh, also go to the restaurant in Monica's neighborhood, there are some great ones. Unfortunately, we only stayed here towards the end of our trip, and only stayed 1 night. We would have stayed for 1 to 2 more nights, which is more than adequate. *Small parrots visit the balcony. . Adorable. Monica seems like a great host, she was very helpful, but it seemed like we got lucky in meeting her as we were arriving into the building. She doesn't stay at the apartment, which has 2 full bathrooms and 4 rooms, but we think there's a girl that stays at the apartment or does all the cleaning. We got lucky to have met Monica when we arrived as she quickly suggested things to do, saving us time and, quite honestly, giving us the locals perspective. We had 2 other guys at the apartment, they were both quiet and respectful. One of them suggested going to the Miraflores Locks. So there are advantages in having other people to compare notes with. Enjoy Panama city, I know we did. For the price and location, this place was great, we personally would stay closer to the waterfront or Casco Vijeas next time around as we loved it so much (but more $$)....
