**This property is located on the Downtown Mall. This highly sought-after locale is comparable to that of an oceanfront property. The views are beautiful, the location can`t be beat, but the ocean is sometimes calm and sometimes there are hurricanes. The downtown mall is similarly situated - sometimes the evenings are quite peaceful and sometimes - especially on Friday and Saturday evenings until midnight, it can be lively and loud.

All prices reflect sales tax of 5.3% and 6% lodging tax.

Beautiful apartment, looks just like the pictures. I was worried about the shower because there wasn't a picture, but it is really nice too. The best thing about this apartment is the location - right smack in the middle of everything. The worst part is the location - the reviews about how loud it is don't mention that not only will noise be coming from outside (including on Tuesday and Wednesday night when I was there), but also if there is a performer in the space on the first floor, you will be able to hear everything straight through the floor. I can sleep through anything, so the noise did not bother me at all, but I think most people would have significant trouble sleeping. There was a white noise sound machine provided, which might help. Check in was super easy and I loved being able to get in with the automatic code and not having to meet up with someone for a key. Really beautiful apartment and perfect for anyone who doesn't care about noise.

The place is extremely easy to get to and sits directly overtop the downtown mall. It was beautifully decorated and had every amenity we needed (and more). The host was great at communicating everything we needed to know prior to arrival about parking and key codes. The only downside is the noise level from outside. During the day, it's not a problem but it becomes very loud around 12:30-3am (we stayed a Fri/Sat). As other reviews stated, you'll also hear some trucks around 6:30/7 in the morning. While I would prefer something a little quieter, it's so convenient to the downtown mall that for others who might be heavy sleepers, it's the perfect place! I would just suggest bringing a noise machine or something similar to drown out the late night college crowd.

The apartment is located in a prime location, right on Main Street (Downtown mall) and looks exactly as showed on the pictures. I loved the design and the natural daylight in this corner apartment. As shown in several reviews it can become a bit noisy with delivery trucks in the morning. Communications with the hosts was super quick. Everything in the apartment was impecable, clean and with all amenities provided. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Charlottesville!

The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated! It was really convenient to all the downtown activities, but it is loud at night on the mall until about 2AM on weekends, so if you go to bed early, this is not the spot for you.

I'm a Virginia native, moved to Charlottesville in 2000 where I found a perfect marriage for my passion for historic buildings, music, and art. An architect-at-heart without the ability to draw, I found myself drawn to the historic homes in Charlottesville and the Blue Ridge with no way to work with them. The solution: Stay Charlottesville. I (but really we) now manage, over 45 houses in the Charlottesville/Albemarle area. We have everything from small carriage houses to large estates with pools and are able to offer package deals when reserving vehicles in our wine tour fleet (Monticello Wine Tour & Coach Co) or our event venue, Old Metropolitan Hall.
