An eclectic home in the heart of vibrant Queen St. West. Around the corner and you're in the middle of the amazing food, shopping, and music that is Toronto. After enjoying the city, come back to a quiet peaceful apartment where you can unwind.

The space

We live in a one bedroom apartment on the main floor of a house on Adelaide St. West. It doesn't feel like it's in the city, but when you round the corner you'll find yourself in the bustle that is the fashion and arts district of Toronto. It's about a minute away from both Queen St. West and King St. West with streetcar access right on the corner.

We have a front porch and a backyard (a rarity in this city, believe us!)
with a barbecue which is available for your use. After a long day exploring the city, come back to a queen sized bed and refresh for the next day!

Our laundry room is in the basement, which you will have access to, and we have a lovely bathtub to unwind in.

Guest access

You will have access to the porch as well as the backyard, the bbq, the laundry machine, dishes and appliances, and any book you want from our shelf.

Interaction with guests

we will be available via email if you have any questions!

We had a great stay here, very easy to access the key and to arrive / check out of the apartment. We had the apartment to ourselves - a hip and good-sized place around 10min on a direct streetcar from the city (it took us around 25min to walk to CN Tower - it was a bit further to the shopping district, so we took the streetcar - bought the full day pass for 2 adults for $11.50 (available on the weekends)). The surrounding neighbourhood is also very hipster, great cafes and nightlife, so it was an enjoyable area to be in! The people in the apartment above were a little noisy (walking around late at night), but it wasn't anything too bad. The bed was comfortable, bathroom and kitchen were clean. In all, a great place to spend a weekend in Toronto!

Due to some unforeseen rescheduling, I ended up not visiting Eleanor and Evan's apartment in Toronto. Which was rather unfortunate, because in our messaging back and forth, it seemed to be a cool place and dito people.

Eleanor and Evan have an awesome place! It was great being so close to Queen St and the apartment was super central. Just as the ad says the apartment has a very bohemian feel. Everything was very clean and well kept. A huge plus was having a backyard with a barbecue in Toronto and we definitely made use of it because of the great weather. Although we didn't get the chance to meet Eleanor and Evan they gave lots of great recommendations and were very flexible with check in and out times. We will definitely be back soon! Thanks for everything

We are an artistic couple living in the heart of Downtown Toronto. We build our lives around the things we love music, dance, art, food and the bustle of the city, but our quiet house is perfect to come home to after the chaos of the day is done.
