The space

We have two bedrooms available in our Park Forest home. Each is furnished with a double bed. There is one bathroom to share for the two rooms.

The price is $150 per room per night but since the bathroom is shared, we've combined them into one listing. If you only want one bedroom, send us a message and we can discuss it.

It's an easy trip to the football stadium from our house. We're 2 miles from campus.

One room is air conditioned, one is not, though they both stay cool. We have a furnished basement with pull-out beds so if you have a bigger group, feel free to inquire about using the basement. Parking on the street is free and available. We have a large deck with a grill which is nice on summer nights. We have a small (non-allergenic) friendly dog.

We enjoy hosting and are happy to cook breakfast in the morning and to help with ideas for what to do and how to get around. We're parents of adult children and our home is a relaxed family atmosphere.

We have wireless internet access, cable, gas fireplace, bus route on our street and we're close to parks with tennis, baseball diamond, basketball, etc.

2 people can stay in each room.

We also have furnished family room/basement with two fold out beds and we can accommodate a group larger than 4. We used to have this as a separate listing but it became confusing. If you're interested in bringing more than 4 people or want separate beds, please send a message so we can discuss.

Brenda and Ken were such great hosts when we were there for the PSU/OSU game. Their communication before our arrival was excellent and once there, they made us feel right at home. We had 2 bedrooms and a private bathroom and their home is very comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. Each morning they made us an awesome breakfast and asked if we had any requests. The food was excellent and the conversation even better. I would recommend this location and will rent again for another game weekend. Thanks Brenda and Ken!

Brenda and Ken were wonderful hosts who made us feel completely at home. They provided breakfast each morning and gave us great suggestions for things to do in State College.

My sister and I stayed at Ken and Brenda's on a football weekend. We had our own private space and our own bathroom. They were very responsive to messages prior to arrival, and Brenda was there to meet us when we arrived. Ken and Brenda could not have made us feel more welcome (and Ken makes a great breakfast!). We enjoyed chatting with them both, and definitely would stay there again the next time we're in town.

Brenda and Ken are delightful hosts that make you feel very welcome and part of the family. They also generously made breakfast for us each morning, which was much appreciated. The location was a very convenient place to stay for a football weekend. It's just off of N. Atherton and close to several stores and restaurants including Wegmans and Wal-Mart. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms reasonably sized. I would be happy to stay there again in the future.

Quiet, comfortable, welcoming Quiet neighborhood, quiet house, family atmosphere with an amazingly welcoming couple Brenda and Ken could not have been friendlier nor more accommodating As a plus, the water pressure puts all hotels ( and my own house ) to shame If all AIRBNB offerings were this way, I'd never stay in a hotel again
