Small suite of 4 private self catering rooms in Grade 2 listed farmhouse forming part of the historic site of an ancient Priory. The rooms include a separate kitchen, wetroom, double bedroom, and a dining room/2nd bedroom. The rooms are downstairs and accessed through the main house. There is off street parking, and secure bike accommodation. Beautiful rural location by River Sow and Two Saints way, just 2 miles from town centre and train station and minutes from the Staffordshire showground.

The space
The four light and airy rooms consist of a double bedroom with king size bed overlooking the front garden, a fully equipped kitchen, a wet room and a single bedroom cum dining room. In this room there is a TV with integral DVD player, and a small table and chairs for eating or working at. The rooms are downstairs and accessed via a small internal hallway which is also private and has a lockable door to the main part of the house. The suite is for the sole use of one set of guests. Access to the suite is via a shared front door and through part of the main house. Basic food items are available, ie cereal, milk, tea, instant coffee and sugar. The kitchen has a 2 ring ceramic hob, full size fan oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The accommodation is within the walls of what was originally a 13th Century barn which forms part of the Mill farmhouse which was extended in the 18th Century. It is situated in the scheduled grounds of an ancient Priory.

Guest access
Parking is in the large private yard off the road, bikes may be stored in a locked barn. The house is accessed via a footpath to the left of the yard. Guests access their suite via the main front door of the house. The washer and dryer in the main house may be used with agreement, guests are welcome to sit in the ornamental gardens to the front of the house or walk round the field. Note: children MUST be accompanied by an adult when in the field as it is adjacent to the River Sow.

Other things to note
There is no charge for one infant under 3.
Although there are two separate bedrooms, as the room with the single bed also contains the dining area and some seating, this suite is a little cramped for 3 adults.
On rare occasions the field is flooded, should this occur, access to the field will be restricted.
Care must be taken when walking out of the site as this is a rural area and there are few pavements and no street lights.

The property is situated in over 4 acres in an idyllic spot overlooking the River Sow. Many birds may be seen in the grounds, and sometimes a pair of swans nest in an adjacent pool. The grounds consist of a large garden with a riverside field which is a hay meadow with mown paths. The Two Saints Way runs behind the property, and the Staffordshire Way is nearby. This is a quiet place, in a peaceful heritage site, yet close to all amenities and in range of delivery services from town restaurants if required.
