Superb accommodation with spacious bedroom and well-stocked bathroom. A lot of care has gone into this property and it was a very relaxing place to stay

A lovely stay in a lovely place! I arrived by train from Sudbury, and Annie very kindly offered to pick me up from the station. I was met with a glass of wine and a beautiful room! The room had recently been refurbished and it was truly gorgeous - definitely the right place to relax and unwind on a busy wedding weekend. Breakfast was delicious: toast, cheese, meats, fruit and yoghurt. The company was lovely, too. Annie is an excellent host!

Annie and John are warm and friendly hosts & made me feel very welcomed in their beautiful home. As the description suggests, it is immaculate and I’d also add, better than most of the local 4 star hotels hotels I have stayed in. I had been on a long delayed train journey & Annie kindly offered to collected me from the train station – I was grateful to see a friendly face waiting for me at Sudbury station. Once we were back, her husband John presented me with a glass of wine, which again was gratefully received. Alongside the welcoming reception, & the superior & clean room, the continental breakfast was also an absolute winner. It consisted of locally brought sour dough toast, sliced cheeses & meats with a pot of jam. There was also some good quality yogurt & berries, and cereals available. I was lucky enough to stay at the same time as their daughter (who teaches yoga in the Maldives) so I even squeezed in a complimentary yoga lesson before breakfast on one of the days! Which was a real treat! I stayed there for three nights in total and would happily recommend the B&B to everyone I know! They gave me lots of privacy and yet their door was also open, and there was a ready smile if I needed anything (which I hardly did as the room was so well equipped). A real hidden gem in Great Cornard!

I felt amazingly relaxed and welcome in Annie's lovely BnB. Walkable to all the things I wanted to experience in Great Cornard and Sudbury. Perfect bed, shower and accommodations. The real topper was Annie and her husband John and their delightful company.

I love living in beautiful Suffolk. I enjoy cooking for family and friends, beading, mosaics, oil painting, growing (and eating most of all!), my own vegetables and fruit, and walking our little dog Milo.

Life motto...treat everyone as you would like to be treated.

Most important to me... my husband and our children, words can't do justice to how privileged I feel to have them in my life, I love sunshine now and then, hot running water when I want it, good fresh food, a warm home, and a good bed, how lucky am I? Absolute luxury right there in a sentence :)

My favourite places are my home, garden and my bed! Alderney, many Greek Islands, Seville & anywhere there's good fresh vegetables and delicious wine, because then its like home to me!

Favourite films...Truly Madly Deeply, Romeo & Juliet, the Baz Luhrmann version, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Sleuth, the 1972 version.

My favourite foods... lemons, limes, coriander, wild garlic, coconut, good butter, cheddar, parmesan, Roquefort, olive oil, walnuts, home made bread & good rich Shiraz or a Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough NZ.
