Right in the middle between the boroughs of Kensignton & Chlesea and Hammershmith and Fulham, Barrons Court is leafy and green, whilst being just fifteen minutes into the heart of central London. The area is best known for the famous Queens club (for tennis fans) as well as being just moments from Earls Court for Kensington Olympia and walking distance (just 10 minutes) to Hammersmith Eventim (previously the Hammersmith Apollo) which hosts a number of great events and shows. Hammersmith itself is known for its numerous theaters (four in total) including the Lyric which is know particularly for its original productions and is considered one of the most highly regarded theaters outside of the West End.
At the top of the road is a small parade of shops including a delicatessen, hairdressers, pharmacy and an excellent cafe, which is highly recommended for its white chocolate chip and cranberry cookies! At the opposite end of the street is Fulham Palace Road, which is again served by serevral shops and has a great selection of local restaurants and bars. The Fulham Palace Road leads directly to Fulham High Street, which again has plenty of nightlife, shops and entertainment to choose from.
The apartment is is very close to the Thames, and a stroll down the river is highly recommended for those who enjoy a walk. For shopperholics the Westfield Shopping complex is just a short journey on public transport.
In terms of travel the location is perfect. The apartment is just a two/three minute walk from Barrons Court tube station which is conveniently served by both the District and Circle lines (green and Yellow) as well as the Piccadilly line (Navy Blue). On the District and Circle Lines you'll have direct access to High Street Kensington (Holland Park, Royal Albert Hall), Notting Hill (Portabello Road), South Kensington (National History Museum, V & A, Science Museum), Slan Square (Saatchi Gallary, Peter Jones) St James Park (Buckingham Palace) , Westminster (Houses of Parliament and Big Ben) and Temple (Tower Bridge and Tower of London). The Piccadilly line takes you via Knightbridge (Harrods, Hyde Park) to Piccadilly Circus (Oxford Street), Leicester Square and Covent Garden (West End). All are accessible within 15/20 minutes (most are closer) and the many options provide you with easy access to the whole of the city with just a few changes.
As well as the tube there are plenty of buses which serve the whole of London and depart every 5/10 minutes from bus stops which are all within a short walking distance to the property.

Hi, my name is Celia. I'm a dancer and gymnast who loves art and travel. I run White Rabbit Property Management, which is a property management company that helps real people to rent their homes on the short term property market (just like Airbnb). We are a small team that specialises in the creative industries, working with amazing people and unique individual homes. Our mission is to make sure that both guests and hosts have the best possible experience of sharing their homes. All the properties we list here are professionally cleaned before arrival with fresh linen and towels provided during each stay. We also always have someone to meet you at the apartment to hand over the keys and and offer advice and guidance about the local area. We like to keep the lines of communication open so my team and I are always a message or call away. When I'm not busy with White Rabbit Property Management, I love to take some time out to enjoy this lovely city. My favourite places are the Royal Opera House and the Serpentine Lido in Hyde Park. I love to dance and seeing shows in the west end is one of the highlights for me of being in London. I like to travel in style but am equally happy up a mountain as I am in the city. I love to get lost and explore new places by simply soaking up the atmosphere.
