Interaction with guests
I live in and own the home. I am down to earth, easily met, and enjoy meeting new people. I work full-time and stay busy. I am very familiar with Winston and the Downtown area and will be glad to help with suggestions for entertainment, dining, exercise, and/or activities.
I personally love living in Winston Salem. The downtown is chic, especially with the many historic districts that surround the city. The diverse houses and very friendly neighbors, make it lovely to walk everywhere. Being Nestled in the West Salem historic district brings a notable aesthetic to downtown living. Convenient to downtown, WF Baptist Health, BB&T Ballpark, Salem College/Old Salem, Brookstown shops and restaurants and NC School of the Arts.
Walking or biking Downtown (1.0mile) or to Old Salem (0.6 mile) is simple and scenic! Only half a mile stands between this home and the Strollway; a walking trail which connects you to downtown or to the Salem Creek Greenway. If you are in town on a Saturday, be sure to visit the Old Salem Farmers Market, where you'll be surrounded by delicious baked goods, newly harvested fresh veggies, homemade jellies, and beautiful bouquets of flowers! Downtown Winston is very much alive and well. It's artistic charm will leave an indelible impression on you. Discover the creative side of Winston by taking a drive to the Reynolda house or watching a film at the downtown A/perture theatre. If the day brings you bad weather, parking is never a problem. The city bus stop is within one block. Winston Salem offers cab service and Uber. Several grocery stores ( including: Trader Joes, Publix, WholeFoods, and Harris Teeter ) are less than 3 miles from the home. The Greensboro PTI Airport is about a 30 minute drive away!
