The space

This is a quiet and private apartment that has been newly renovated. It has a light filled open living area with a kitchen, eating area, a couch that pulls out to a full size bed, new solid bamboo tongue & groove floors. Kitchen offers full size appliances and all accessories for cooking. Bathroom is completely new with a decent sized shower and tile floor. Bedroom consists of a queen size bed, bureau, 2 night-stands, closet, ceiling fan, and egress door in case of emergencies. Suite is wired with smoke and CO2 detectors. There is a TV with a Smart DVD player but no regular TV service. Guests have their own entrance through an entryway with a coat closet. Off street parking, internet, walk to everything.

Interaction with guests

I would love to assist you with your travel plans, help you figure out where to eat, what to do, etc. On the other hand, I will respect your privacy and have little contact if you wish. It's up to you. If you find the apartment does not have something that you need, just let me know.

Other things to note

While staying at the Willow Suite you are only 1.5 blocks from Main St., and the ferry and bus terminals. The Antique Marketplace is just around the corner. An award winning breakfast awaits you only 2-blocks away at Home Kitchen Cafe, just past Dunkin Donuts. Also, an easy walk to the natural foods store and other fabulous restaurants offering locally caught seafood, grass-fed beef, organic local-grown veggies, as well as Japanese and Mediterranean fare. Find a Happy Hour at traditional pubs like Rock Harbor Micro Brewery or Waterworks Pub, or more urban or upscale places such as In Good Company Wine Bar or FOG Bar and Restaurant.

This is an ideal location to enjoy everything Rockland has to offer, plus only 8 miles to Camden. Downtown Rockland offers cultural experiences through galleries, museums, live music, theater, and restaurants. Stroll the small unique shops to discover items from Maine-made crafts to boutiques offering well-known brands. Also, very close to other city amenities; train station, library, fitness center, yoga studio, parks, sand beaches and boardwalk.

Little gem in the middle of Rockland. This quiet and cozy little cottage is perfect for a couple looking to unwind in the quaint little town of Rockland. Kitchen is well appointed with new appliances. Bedroom is very quiet for sound sleeping. Dee met us at check in and provided suggestions for dinner, morning coffee and activities. I would stay here again.

The location was perfect, and the cottage was very clean and comfortable. Dee was a wonderful host and very accommodating. She gave us some great tips that added to our experience (sailing, light houses, food). Highly recommend!

I began visiting Maine in the mid 1970's during summers off from school. As soon as I graduated from high school I moved up. I've lived here since 1979, having migrated from Long Island, NY. I travel quite a bit as an adventurer, motorcycle enthusiast, and fine art photographer. …
