Es la habitación más cómoda en casa, baño privado, dos ventanas, ventilador, TV y cocina. Lindo espacio que hemos puesto a disposición de nuestros viajeros. English/French are fluently spoken. Airport pick-up. Typical breakfast included.

The space

The most remarkable thing about our place that is close to nature, five minutes walking and you're already swimming in a lake, walking in the forest or making fire in our 'finca' which is located ten minutes walking from home. So basically you don't have to go on expensive tours to enjoy nature that is just next to your sleeping place.

Guest access

Nice spaces to hang you hammock and have a nice nap listening to birds, lizards and maybe a monkey passing by. Swimming lake nearby. Bike rental available for guest.

Juan Carlos and Gloria are great hosts who warmly welcomed me and my boyfriend into their beautiful home. What a pleasant surprise to have breakfast included in the room, the food was tasty and we got to try lots of different yummy local fruits. The room is beautiful, the bed very, very comfortable and the hammock a great bonus to just hang out and sleep, read or watch TV. Juan Carlos gave us lots of advice and went out of his way to help us with a document we urgently needed to get signed, he definitely saved the day. We enjoyed staying at the house so much that we stayed for three nights instead of one. It was lovely spending time with the family, playing with Maia and chatting to Juan Carlos and Gloria. We can wholeheartedly recommend this listing, it would be hard to find a better place in town and we want to come back for sure.

Wasnt to bad, but there was no wifi, and Juan told us that he will pick us up at the airport but instead we arrived without someone waiting and being sure of that, we didnt knew where to go. Only because a random guy helped us by taking us to his house we could find out where to go. Its not in the nature or at all near to the jungle. Also, at our last day the lady promised us of getting our clothes dry, cause having a dryer. After 3 times of asking if she is sure we felt safe. For sure everything was soaking wet when we arrived to get ready for departing. So there is certainly no dryer. And even some stuff is missing and the rest still smelling like being washed badly not getting packed still wet. So all in all Juan is a nice guy, providing you good information about the surrounding, we just hadnt the best start. And dont let them wash your clothes!

loved this place - feels like your home away from home. Juan is an amazing host - organised a trip to the jungle, great breakfast & you can come and go as you wish since he is very accommodating and spontaneous and always finds a solution. would def. stay again.

Juan Carlos, Gloria and Maia are Great hosts. We travelled as a family with a toddler and a4year old, their daughter lent our kids some toys and played with them. We truly felt like we stayd at an old friend's house. The room is in their house which is one of the two properties that they rent on airbnb. The property is a rare mix in between a hostel and a house. You will meet a lot of travelers, but feel like you are staying at your friend's. ask for assistance to Juan Carlos to place the mosquito net properly, as this is essential.

Juan Carlos has been a great host. His family welcomed us into their home with open arms. The location is great with only few minutes by TukTuk to the center. Juan has a visitors' book where every writes down their tips and experiences. If that is not enough Juan can always recommend you places to get a immersive Amazonas experience. We felt very safe and the place has a very peaceful touch. The room is spacious, has a fan and mosquito net.

Juan was so warm and welcoming we were completely surprised and moved. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night, but the few hours we spent with him we got to appreciate the area and the great work he does. He has a wonderful family and a wonderful place he's building on the Brazilian side. The food was amazing! We are staying with him again in a few days when we go back! Saludos a Gloria, a Maia y al abuelo!!!

My stay with Juan Carlos, Gloria and Maya was amazing! They welcomed me very well in their friendly house. I had fun, interesting conversation and good tips from all of them and from the good people I met thanks to my stay with them! I really enjoyed staying with them, the house is clean, located near the forest and the brazilian border which offer a very different experience than a stay in the center of Leticia. I also went on an adventure in the forest on Juan´s recommendation, it was absolutely amazing! I would recommend this place a million times
