About this listing

Locally known at "The Watts House", this home was built in 1855 as a charming Greek revival by James Watts, a brick mason. Today, it features a modern kitchen and bathrooms with heated floors. The screened porch makes summer living easy which looks out to an Asian-inspired garden and Japanese tea house. The guest house in the back will sleep two comfortably and the living room sofa converts into a queen-size bed as well.

The space

Entertaining? Period-appropriate furniture throughout the main floor of the house balances well with original woodwork and random-width hardwood floors. Want to try out a smart house? The technology throughout incorporates Amazon Alexa, for voice control, Sonos speakers throughout, Z-Wave switches, Nest thermostat and a self-watering yard by Rachio. Want to stay in for a movie night? Enjoy the drop-down projector screen and 5.1 surround sound!

Jason has a beautiful home and was very accomodating to our group. His home is in walking distance of many of the historic sights, most notably, St. John's Church. His home was very clean and updated.

I live in Richmond, VA and work for the Government. I realize Richmond can have shortage on accommodations, so I thought I would help us both out!
