Birgitte has a wonderful place! She and her husband are very friendly, caring and always help! The room looks fantastic and is very cozy. The kitchen is as well very well equipped. In case of insecurities, I could always ask them and they always helped me. I can do nothing than recommending this place!!! You will not be disappointed or negative surprised.

Birgitte' house is wonderfully comfortable and she is a most welcoming host. I stayed for three weeks and felt at home almost immediately. The room was cozy and spacious with a bed, desk and chair, cupboards, tv, and a door to outside so you can come and go without disturbing anyone. The kitchen was well furnished and equipped, so too were the bathroom and laundry. The area for guests is pretty well self contained which made it feel more like an apartment than a room which was fantastic. There's nothing I can think of that I would change, it was perfect.

Great place in a cosy and quiet neighbourhood, next to the most beautiful nature and just a short bus ride from the center of Copenhagen. Birgitte is a great host and responded very quickly to messages. There's a private entrance to the room and a small kitchen with everything you'd need. I highly recommend staying at their place. Thank you, Birgitte:-)

Lovely Danish home in residential area. Walking distance to local public transport and easily accessible from Copenhagen (25mins by bus). Cosy room with private entrance. Immediately felt very welcome and could trust that if I ever needed anything I could ask without hesitation :)

Birgitte's place is just as pictured. Clean, cute, and cozy. Private entrance and access to shared (with one other guest) bathroom, kitchen, and laundry (shared with family). The location of the home was a short walk from the bus stop. I'd say maybe the equivalent of 3 city blocks for those visiting from the States. The home is minutes away from downtown Copenhagen and the University of Copenhagen via Bus 6A. For purchasing bus and train passes, download the Mobilbilletter app. When asked for your phone number be sure to add a +1 before your number for those traveling from the states. You will likely need only 2 zones; cost is 24 DKK. You will have one hour to use the ticket so purchase close to departure time. There is an all-day pass but I found the cost to be cheaper purchasing a each way ticket. With access to a kitchen and laundry one could save lots of money by preparing breakfast and either lunch or dinner at the flat: and pack only a carry-on and simply use laundry mid-stay. There is a grocery store called Irma near by. It's small but you'll find some interesting frozen meals that are pretty darn good. Also, there is complimentary tea and coffee at the flat. I love coffee but became fond of using the cute tea pot and drinking the delicious teas available. The TV is connected to Apple TV so you will be able to either watch movies on Netflix or stream movies from your iPhone using airplay. Being from the states, heated floors or heating systems in the floor is not common for me. It was an awesome experience. Those floors kept me warm in the home and especially while sleeping in the comfy bed. The quilt and down comforter also kept me warm and helped me sleep well. I must say I had some pretty good sleep there despite the fact that I could hear lots of walking above the room. I had ear plugs because I know I am a light sleeper. So if you are a light sleeper be prepared. Hearing the walking was the only con I could even think of. But it's not enough for me not to recommend or rebook. Overall, I enjoyed my stay (my first Airbnb experience). Will visit again and hope Birgitte's flat is available!! Thanks again Birgitte!!
