Welcome to our elevated and stylish studio, located in the heart of Helsinki's most central district, Kluuvi. Our beautiful Art Nouveau house from 1907 is tucked away from the busy streets, offering a peaceful and relaxing stay in the city center.

The space
Enjoy a relaxing stay at this centrally-located but yet tucked away apartment. The apartment is located on the second floor in a century-old Art Nouveau building. All windows of the apartment are facing an enclosed courtyard, no traffic noise can be heard. It is in walking distance from the Central Railway Station and the closest Metro stop is just outside the building. The apartment also offers high speed Wi-Fi (300 mbps) and a private sauna, a great way of relaxing and finding you inner Finn.

If you appreciate historical architecture, this house is a true gem. The apartment itself boasts original details, such as a charming decorative fireplace in the main room, and lofty 3.50 m high ceilings that create a spacious atmosphere.

For entertainment on rainy days, the smart TV offers access to our Netflix account, mounted to an adjustable arm for comfortable viewing from the sofa or the dining table. The bedroom has a comfy 140 cm wide double bed, with fluffy blankets, a double set of pillows, and organic cotton sheets. For those sensitive to light when sleeping, blackout curtains are provided. A small desk in the bedroom is perfect for remote work. Two larger sized wardrobes provide generous amount of storage space.

A brand new and comfy sofa bed in the living room can accommodate up to two additional guests (140 cm wide), easily foldable during the day. Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for cooking, with cooking basics such as oil, spices, salt, and pepper provided. The generous dining table also doubles as a workspace, with nearby electrical outlets for your laptop.

Personal items can be stored in the mirror cabinet above the sink, with towels, hairdryer, and basic toiletries provided for all guests.

The hallway has a large wardrobe with plenty of space for your clothes, and an extended part of the hallway between the bedroom and bathroom includes a washing machine, perfect for longer stays.

The Kluuvi district encompasses most of the very centre of downtown Helsinki. The Helsinki Central Station, the big department stores, and many buildings belonging to the University of Helsinki are all found here. One of the main commercial high streets, Aleksanterinkatu, intersects Kluuvi. The district has only about 640 residents, but 24,000 people work there.

The most central landmark of Kluuvi is the main railway station. Local train services for the metropolitan area depart from the Helsinki Central Station, as do intercity services to other cities in Finland.

Kluuvi is also a cultural hub thanks to the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, the Helsinki Music Centre, the Ateneum Art Museum, and the National Theatre. The Kaisa House is the main library at the central campus of the University of Helsinki. Completed in 2012, the library complex has received several design awards and represents a new era of library architecture. The newest addition to Kluuvi's cultural institutions is the new Helsinki Central Library Oodi that opened at the end of 2018, and has been recognised as a architectural feat.
