Ryton Grange is a lovingly and recently restored grade 2 listed farmhouse built in 1594 in the tudor period and extended in 1744 in the georgian period. It retains many beautiful original features and beams, but enjoys the comforts of modern living. It is situated in the middle of an unspoilt rural village equidistant between the market towns of shrewsbury and church stretton .
It is a perfect setting for both families and groups of friends to relax and enjoy the property and spacious gardens.

The space
It has a fabulous historical feel with beams, panelling and period furniture but is warm and comfortable with underfloor heating, wood burner, fitted oak and granite kitchen. 6 bedrooms with 4 double beds one cot and 4 singles in total, 2 of the singles can be joined to make a superking (this option needs to be arranged at time of booking or at least 1 weeks notice). There are also 2 extra fold up guest beds, 2 travel cots that can be provided on request. One of the bedrooms is located downstairs and has an ensuite bathroom. Luxurious egyptian cotton bedding and towels . Huge cottage garden with lawns, patio furniture for 12, BBQ and fire pit. Games room with pool, table tennis, darts and a football table.Outdoor volleyball net and basketball hoop. Private parking for more than 4 cars and enclosed garden for safety.

Guest access
You will be able to access the whole property...house, the gardens, the games room barn and an outbuilding that houses the patio furniture. The property is not shared. There is a gardener, Les who comes every other tuesday to mow the lawns. There are some barns to the side that are private but uninhabited. Owner of the property may need to access one of the private barns to get a tool very rarely!

Other things to note
This is an historic property and is a large spacious property, however unavoidably there are uneven floors, steps into the property and within the property between rooms (including reception and kitchen), higgledy piggledy staircases with uneven and differently sized steps and some areas with restricted headroom.
