This studio basement apartment is a great affordable way to experience this fun Toronto West End neighbourhood. Located on a quiet tree lined street, you are moments away from Dundas West and Queen Street West. Plenty of coffeeshops, restaurants and bars within walking distance.

The space
The apartment has full stove, fridge-freezer in the kitchen, all pots pans and cutlery are provided. There is small dining table and two chairs. In the bathroom is a shower cubicle, washer and a dryer. The double bed has a brand new firm mattress and mattress protector. There is a small sofa and a TV that swivels so can be watched from the sofa or the bed. Plenty of storage space.

Being a normal basement apartment, the ceilings are lower than normal ceilings. I'm 5'10 and its fine for me. there is one air duct that runs the length on the studio that is about 5'8 tat I duck under (we put red tape on it as a visual warning!)

We do not have parking unfortunately. You can buy temporary parking permits from the city. I believe it costs $29 for 48 hours or $44 for a week. You can buy these up to seven days before your stay.

Off the studio is the furnace room for the house. This does make a little noise. We have never had complaints from people staying here (and we have slept in the studio on many occasions), but if you are sensitive to noise, it may not be the right place for you.

Guest access
The studio is self-contained. It is accessed via steps in the front yard. You walk through a storage room (under our porch) to get to the studio. This storage room can be used to store bikes, etc.

Other things to note
Keys can be picked up from a lock safe, or from one of us.
