The house was large & clean. It was near a State Park & wineries which were nice to visit. The furniture was old which triggered my daughter's dust allergies. A couple of the twin beds were creaky & a little uncomfortable. It was spacious enough for our large family. Host was res…

The location and the stay was exquisite. Kathleen presented us with a jar of preserve and local eggs which was a great gesture. Would not recommend it for a group of friends as there are rules to be quiet after 11pm (which we were not made aware of until we checked into the listi…

Response from Kathleen:
Sneha arrived around 2:30 AM. She told me she would arrive between 10:30 and 11:00 PM. She never notified me differently. They were quite noisy going into the house at that hour. On Saturday they were drinking and partying until 2:30 AM. Banging on the table and shouting when asked to be quiet. Put tennis shoes in dryer late at night making lots of noise. This is a retreat house for families, weddings, graduations, funerals, winery tours and church groups. It is stated no partying and this is what they were doing. We carried away more beer bottles and other recycleble items than anyone we have ever had at the house. There is a friend who rents the apt above the kitchen totally separate from the house. Separate entrance and noise can be made until 12:00 but 2:30 is a little late. She cleans the house on a regular basis and monitors the house since she lives there. THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE. We have lots of renters no one has ever been as noisy as this group. Would not recommend them for a rental to any one.

Kathleen is a great host. The house is very nice and there's a ton of space. The Wifi is very slow (especially if you have 10 people) but that's standard for the rural area where the house is located. Overall it was great!

The house easily accommodates a large group. We got permission to exceed the 10 limit. And, we easily fit 13 people in the space. There are plenty of beds set up (although all except one are singles). The house has old charm. It is quaint and "homey". It also has a lot of histor…
