we had a great time at Cleeve hills! we stayed at room 3 and just like the description, it has the best view with its corner window. early check-in is possible as we arrived a bit early and was allowed by ate Lorie and kuya Rey to check-in in to our room. i just loved how clean the room was. The toilet/bath is a bit small though, but it was clean and essentials were provided such as bath towels, paper toilet, hand soap, shampoo and shower gel. we didnt have any problems with the water, hot and cold functioned well. if you're too lazy to roam around the city you may ask ate Lorie to cook your meal (with a very cheap price). i strongly recommend Cleeve Hills to those who are looking for -a hotel quality place to stay at an affordable price -a quick getaway but not in the busy district of Tagaytay (away from traffic) -a place where they can really experience rest and relaxation -a romantic getaway with their loved ones i commend the caretakers Ate Lorie and Kuya Rey for being so accomodating and helpful. :) i would suggest that they put a much bigger signage so that the future guests of this place will not miss it, just like we did. haha! ; )

The first thing that greets you is the beckoning, picturesque view of a white building placidly sitting on a windswept hillside, far removed from the busy street and racket of Tagaytay's commercial side. Each room is a cozy fit for two, with a bit of wiggle room. It's a lovely place, with isolation and the view as its greatest features. The caretaker is literally just a minute away in a nearby house, and was responsive to my messages. Parking is done along the driveway itself, so bringing an SUV is ill-advised when staying with other parties so as not to hog the driveway. (Use Waze, by the way. The place is very easy to miss.) Ventilation could be a lot better, as the air inside was stale. I wish the staff had aired the room and lobby out before we arrived, since we were expected after all. The shower stall in our room did not drain bathwater well. In the way of amenities, Cleeve Hills falls under the 'spartan' side of the spectrum. This is a place to rest and recover, but little else. There is a small kitchen on the roof deck, and tables are found on the yard and the lobby. Bring your own food and drinks (and utensils). Towels, soap, and shampoo are also provided, but bring your own hangers and slippers. The available Wifi isn't the best, (the nearby McDonald's had faster connection) but that's not why you're there now, is it? Cleeve Hills is great for a quick getaway, when you need a peaceful night of sleep, some quiet time for reflection, and maybe to contemplate the clouds above the pineapple fields. I would love to come back in the near future.

It's a little far away from the commercial side of the area. But the view is great and the house is cosy and romantic. The caretaker was very accommodating and helpful.

Upon arriving to Cleeve Hills, the caretakers is already there to arrange our arrival and gave us a tour to the place. They even provided us everything that we needed and requested (like gss replacement for the kitchen). We had a relaxing stay and we will be coming again if given the chance.
