In an area full of gigantic hotels, bun's homestay is a breath of fresh air and you know you are helping the locals by staying there. Bun hires locals to work for him and they all seem very happy. Unless you are terribly prescious you will love your stay with Bun. He has all the advice and tools for you to see the sights. We felt very welcome with smiles and toasts at the end of each day. We would happily recommend Bun's homestay to family and friends wanting to explore the sights of Siem Reap.

Many thanks for staying with and supporting our crew with your kindness and widely heart opening. Without your opening of your heart, we won't have any amazing opportunity to be not just your host but also have you both as a part of our family. It doesn't matter who we are and we believe, when we open our heart then all things will go smoothly! Thanks again!

I'm so glad that I decided to stay at this home-stay instead of on Pub Street. Bun helped arrange a perfect trip for the 3 days I was there, providing great tuk tuk drivers and tour guides when needed. Room was very nice, convenient laundry service was an unexpected plus. The included family-style dinner and tarantula wine was great, not to mention the great company I enjoyed the dinner with.

Host was kind and honest and good person. We enjoyed a tour with him. The tour price was resonable and we satisefied. Acomodation was a traditional cambodian wooden house. Good experience. ^^~~★

It was an great experience staying at his place. My family and I enjoyed everything with them. He is such a nice person who always makes people laugh so much. Staying for four days in the cozy house, you will definitely explore the real Cambodian life. Thank you so much for the stay.

A great home stay experience. Simple rooms, no hot water but the water is pleasantly tepid by afternoon, a/c in at least two rooms, home cooked dinners -- and Bun's overwhelming hospitality. You need it -- a Tuk-tuk driver to pick you up from the airport, or drop you in town, tours by day of Angkor Wat and Pub St by night -- and Bun supplies it. But guests can get as involved or not with Bun and other guests as they wish. Not everyone will like the location, closer to the airport than town, and on a rutted dirt road with nowhere to walk at night -- but if you, like me, find downtown Siem Reap less than compelling, this is a plus: the only reason for Siem Reap is Angkor Wat, and Bun's homestay is an evocative respite after touring.

Such an amazing experience!! Bun and his family were very welcoming and hospitable. I always felt like I was staying at a families home and not just a hotel. He made it extremely easy setting up tours with knowledgable guides. He made sure you were picked from airport and made sure you had reliable transportation to the downtown area if he could not take you himself. He's very passionate about his work and giving back to the community. Not only will you see all the main tourist attractions but also learn about the culture and harsh realities of the Cambodian poverty. Of my whole trip my stay with him and his family have been the highlight. I highly recommend a stay here, you will be taken care of like family. Plus the food is amazing!

I am Bunyong ( Bun), the host and pure product of Cambodia living in Siem Reap, the gate way to the world largest religious monument on earth ever built bu human beings .
The five things I can't live without is family, friendship, food and drink, traveling and sports. Apart from Angkor Wat and Cambodia, my favorite destination was United States of America, Canada and United Kingdom. My favorite music was Beatles, Elvis Presley. Bob Marley and Movies would be James Bonds and Bruce Ly . Cambodia is best food ever . I also love Mexican food and Sunday roast.
Travel style is adventure and culture. My life motto is " when your mind is open then all things go smoothly " .
