About this listing
Guest room (you share my home with me, breakfast not included) in fantastic recently converted contemporary apartment in 1880's building on quiet street very close to Nottingham City Centre Old Market Square and Train Station.
Large open plan living, dining and kitchen area, guest room has own bathroom.
Modern open plan living with wood flooring in a 1880 building. A great large space to relax in close to the city centre. I only moved in July 2015 so still personalising but I like the nice things in life, design and sport (rowing is my thing).
There is no TV as I like to use the available time on personal projects, fitness, friends/family or out experiencing the city/area.
Cool things about the flat
Location, close to city but flat is very quiet
Huge lounge windows letting lots of light
Dining area for 6-8
Modern kitchen and appliances
Guests have own bathroom
Wireless music system
This is my home so please respect there are some private things in here and respect my neighbours.
Interaction with guests
I will do what I can to help make your stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible, just let me know what you are looking for.
Always have some snacks, beers and wine in-stock.
Other things to note
There is no free parking in the area around the flat but there are many paid car parks around (the cheapest is Maid Marian Way NCP at NG1 6AE a few minutes from the flat).
If you are travelling in from the motorway you can use the park & ride with the tram link right into market square (35 minutes).
I have been enjoying staying in airbnb places for a few years now and adopt the principle of nice places attract nice people. The main rule is to enjoy your stay so let me know how I can help.
Sorry no pets or smoking in the property. No parties or unapproved guests/visitors. A party = more people than the number of guests booked. No hen or stag groups.
The cleaner comes in every other Sunday at 10-12 so will let guests know if they have checkout by 10, otherwise flexible.
Cancel up to 24 hours before your trip and get a full refund, including service fees.
Moved into this apartment in July 2015 as I have always wanted to enjoy city centre living. I love the good things in life, design (Scandinavian chair design, Paul Smith and Philippe Starck) and technology, being outdoors exercising (rowing, running and cycling), growing businesses: day job and have a mobile app business in my spare time.
I don't like package holidays but love visiting places where I have friends or hosts. I am terribly slow reader but do like sporting biography types. Enjoy the movies and live music/comedy. Favourite foods are: Thai, Indian and French.
Not a fan of vegetating in front of TV so you won't find one in my flat. Much prefer using that wasted time on the things mentioned above.
I will do my best to host you and make your stay enjoyable.
