Patrick Leon's AirBnB accomodation is ideally situated a short walk from the old town of Tours. We had some difficulty in finding parking space at arrival and ended up in an underground parking garage 10 mins walk from the flat. We received a very friendly welcome with a glass of our host's best Vouvray wine and local snacks. He also presented us with maps and leaflets of the area and shared with us of his expert knowledge. The flat is niceley furnished and decorated with a personal and homely touch. Our bedroom was clean and comfy. Considering our 5 day stay we may have wished for a little more cupboard space to unpack. We were very grateul for our own lovely bathroom with access to toiletteries, hair dryer and laundry machines. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and of best local quality. Our host, Patrick, is very friendly, generous, considerate and discreet. This our first experience of AirBnB-living was thoroughly positive.

What a great experience we had staying at Patrick's home. We were greeted by him before we had even paid for the taxi. His home is in a very old building that is very charming. You do have to walk up one flight of stairs that are narrow, but not difficult. The home was spotless. Our host had a glass of wine waiting for us and some snacks that were very welcome. The room and bath both exceeded our expectations. The breakfasts were both very filling and tasted wonderful. To top it all off Patrick also took us on a walking tour of the city that we enjoyed very much. Tours was one of the highlights of out trip.

Patrick was a great host, friendly, thoughtful and he sets a fine breakfast table. His knowledge of Tours and the area is vast and he had a stack of documentation available. He's just a really nice, sociable guy, interesting conversationalist and ready to help you maximize your visit. The apartment was spacious and bright, both the patio and the shower terrific and the great location just a half block from the Loire a big plus.

An amazing French experience! We spent 3 nights at Patrick's humble abode and didn't want to leave. Patrick is a generous host, extremely friendly and has great attention to detail. His "small" gestures were very grand, such as heating up our room when it was cold, providing breakfast every morning and scolded us for trying to help clear the plates and communicated well prior to arriving and up until we left. He gave us recommendations on where to go around Tours and Loire Valley, and spoke very fondly of Tours which makes us want to come back! Patrick, Tim and I would like to thank you again for a wonderful weekend and I hope to meet again.

Patrick deserves 6 stars out of 5! On our arrival, he warmly greeted us and asked if we would like to share a bottle of wine. How could we refuse? Throughout our three day visit, he was a constant source of helpful advise and pleasant conversation. His flat is well located in the old part of the city, a 3 minute walk from restaurants and stores. The apartment and bedrooms are clean and no detail is overlooked. We had our own bathroom and there is a washing machine inside available for use if needed. The breakfasts are delicious and he was very happy to accommodate to our taste. We could not have been happier with our visit. We strongly recommend a stay with Patrick.
