(If Calender is full see the sister deck "Glamping deck near Asheville. Astounding views")Camping Deck w/ long range views of mountain vistas and pastures. Well built roomy 16x24 deck that is partially roofed to provide rain cover if needed. The views are amazing! This is "spoiling" camping. Electricity, lights, chairs, picnic table, clean toilet, dog gate. Bring your fans, electric grills, mattress inflaters or other plug ins. Porta John is cleaned weekly. Verizon cell service is good.
1. No open fires on property. No fires and no fireworks.
2. Take all of your trash with you. (Provide trash bags)
3. Treat the property like you lived there.
4. Close the drawbridge gate and dog gate whenever you leave the deck.
5. Do what you can to keep the noise low. You will enjoy the deck for it's quiet.
This " open fires ban" includes charcoal grills. (Propane cook stoves or electric heaters are allowed if monitored.)There was a major fire on this mountain in the 1970's and it is well remembered. The steep slope and the prevailing winds make for a dangerous fire environment. Deck is limited to 10 people on the deck at any one time. Park in turnout areas only; not in the road as there are people who live further down the road and they need driving room to get by. Take all of your camping trash with you as bears love trash! I have provided trash bags .
Check out time is 11:00 AM as other quests may be arriving later that day.

While these “describe” yourself paragraphs are always awkward, I will do my best. I have been happily married and living in Black Mountain for the last 34 years. My wife and I raised two daughters, both of whom have “flown the nest.”
We live on a small farm where we raise llamas, horses, retired chickens, dogs, ancient cat, guinea hens, rainbow trout, and the occasional wild fox, coyote, etc.
My wife is a practicing Veterinarian and I have done small real estate developments for most of my career. I love to read and wish I could write better. I currently spend time volunteering with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and would encourage you to consider investing time or money with that organization.
When it comes to relaxing, we hope you choose to stay at either of our AirBnB listings. We are in the process of developing a few other sites, so keep an eye out for those additional listings. You may want to check out our "Camping Deck near Asheville, NC" or "Camping deck designed to spoil you." Luxury camping with astounding views.
