About this listing

In the heart of the most multicultural neighborhood in Canada, Parc-ex is also one of the safest in Montreal. Close to many ethnic restaurants and markets. Great access to Downtown and other areas. One of the most quiet rooms in Montreal.

The space

Tons of authentic ethnic restaurants and markets within walking distance. Greek, Italian, Indian, Vietnamese, African, you name it! Very close to Parc Jarry. There are cafes and libraries within walking distance. Mostly English speaking neighborhood, you can easily get around.

Guest access

Guests are welcome to chill in the backyard. No parties though.

Interaction with guests

Guests are welcome to ask me anything in English, French, Spanish or gestures. A computer with printer is available for printing maps and getting around.

Other things to note

The apartment is conveniently located close to Parc metro station in the blue line. The blue line will take you straight to the UdeM. The 80 bus stop is very close. This bus will take you straight to downtown. There is a cat in the apartment, she's not aggressive and stays in my room for the most part but you should know in case of allergies.

The neighbourhood is excellent! So many multicultural restaurants & small shops to try. Specifically Pakistani, North Indian, South Indian, Turkish, Greek, etc. The proximity to Parc métro (subway) station is epic! 24 hour McDonald's beside the station too. Boul Jean Talon bus runs 24 hours as well.

Response from Marcos:
Hello Areeb, Thank you for your feedback, I have noticed that the drain in the bathtub doesn't clear the water very fast, this is a complaint that I have signaled to my landlord, there is a need to replace the pipes under the floor and they need to wait until the summer to do so. This is a very common problem in Montreal older buildings. I apologize that you didn't find the washroom mat absorbent enough. Please understand that you are renting one of Montreal's cheaper bedrooms (you also got to enjoy the whole apartment as I wasn't there for those dates) for $22 a night without cleaning fees. Please consider that most airbnb hosts don't do this full time, there are areas to be shared with me that can't remain clean for your arrival. The experience with respect to cleanliness is going to differ when compared to hotels, as well it differs with the price. Thank you, Marcos

Marcos was really helpful on giving me directions and information about interesting places in Montreal and how to get around. He was kind and always willing to help with questions. The neighborhood is quiet and the apartment is really close to the subway station. There is also a really nice outdoor market and park nearby which Marcos showed me during my first week in Montreal. Very recommendable place to stay.

Marcos is a very nice guy, full of tips about Montreal. His place is quiet and comfortable. It was really a pleasure to live there for 10 weeks. If you have time, you can play soccer with Marcos and his friends in a nice park close to his place. There are all nice! A subway and a supermarket are about 5 minutes from his place. I recommand to have a stay there.

I'm a small business owner. I really enjoy Mountain Biking and Snowboarding. I've been living in Montreal for over a year, I'm truly in love with the city and would like my guests to like it as much as I do. My background is latin-american so I enjoy everything from my culture, the people, the music, the food,... Mi casa es tu casa.
