My house is for rent while I visit home. It's a newer 2 bedroom home located in a neighborhood less than 10 minutes to Seminyak and Canggu. The closest beach is about 10 minutes as well.
The neighborhood has 24 hour security, a shared swimming pool (5 meters from my house), and very friendly neighbors.
There is covered car and motorbike parking.
Overall this is a very central location and it's easy to get around if you travel by motorbike, car, or taxi.
No smoking or pets permitted inside the house.
I ended up in Bali after a short backpacking trip around Southeast Asia. It was only 4 days after my arrival that I decided to stay- that was already more than 4 years ago :). Living in Bali is an amazing experience, with lots of great people and great adventures all within very close proximity and such a large amount of unique sites and culture to photograph. I devote my spare time to surfing, scuba diving, off roading with my Balinese buddies, cooking, and gardening. I am also a very passionate animal rights activist. As you may have read, people say I have a pet monkey- but she is absolutely not a pet. I acquired due to some unfortunate circumstances along with several more- no they weren't purchased in the market which is far from rescuing them. I'm more like their foster father, taking care of them until a monkey sanctuary for unprotected species is opened here in Bali (an effort of which I am a part of). I did not domesticate them or nor do I torment them. They aren't put in clothing or taught any tricks. They eat well, enjoy each others company, have a little swimming pool, and most importantly they are safe from further human torture and neglect. I'm always willing to share my thoughts about animal rights, so please feel free to ask me some questions!
