A fabulous 2 bed cottage situated in idyllic rural countryside in the heart of Somerset. Recently renovated to the highest standards, it offers luxurious and contemporary accommodation and is ideal for a couple with children looking to get away from it all! We are situated within easy access of the heritage city of Bath (1/2 hr) and the historic city of Wells (20 mins). We are also close to Vobster Quarry for open water swimming. In the summer months there is a terrace with a bbq for your use .

The space
The cottage comes with a fully fitted kitchen with solid timber worktops, microwave, and integrated induction hob and oven. There is a full size fridge/ freezer. The bathroom is elegantly equipped with an oversized shower, stand alone basin and heated mirror. All towels are provided. The living / dining area is comfortable and comes with a wood burning stove that ensures the room is cosy and warm. Please note that additional accommodation may be available during the duration of your stay that sleeps up to two people in a double room. Please ask for details.

Other things to note
The gardens are available and are ideal for walks - there is also a public footpath nearby.

The village of Whatley lies about 5km West of Frome, one of Somerset’s most fashionable market towns and recently featured in the Sunday Times as the best place to live in Somerset. The town has a comprehensive choice of retail outlets and all the usual amenities. Founded in 2013, the “Frome Independent” is an award-winning independent street market that is held on the first Sunday of every month and attracts 80,000 people a year.
There are various footpaths, Asham Woods and a bridleway to the nearby village of Mells. The Macmillan Way, a long-distance path, passes through the neighbouring village of Chantry and there are ample opportunities for walking and cycling along converted railway lines and alongside the Mells river.
