Come to the Lake District and relax in this cosy, peaceful room. Just 10 minute drive to Lake Windermere. It has a king size bed, spacious couch area, modern shower room. With private off street parking. We are tucked away in the heart of a traditional Lakeland village. Its a short walk to the local pub and village store. It has lovely views of Whitbarrow Scar, with access to footpaths and bridleways from the doorstep. We look forward to welcoming you .

The space
Our home is situated down a country lane.The room is on the ground floor. Your room has a private entrance and shower room. You enter our home through a large yellow door, into a light filled porch area. The room has a Kingsize bed with Lake district air dried 100% cotton sheets, underfloor heating. A spacious couch area with a coffee table for you to relax, watch television or play games.There is a wardrobe and cabinet space for all your belongings to be stored. You have your own shower room which is modern, spacious with a walk in shower. Towels and soap are provided, There is a Hairdryer, kettle, microwave and a mini fridge. We provide complementary tea, coffee, the wine and beer in the mini fridge can be purchased.
There is super fast Wi-Fi and Television.
There is a private garden area for you to relax in , with firepit . At the front of the house is a large wooded picnic bench made by my son for you to use.
There is use of a secure space to store bikes, paddle boards, paraglider's etc if needed.
We welcome you into our home.

Guest access
Guest can ask if needed to use a ironing board, I do not have a tumble dryer but a large area to dry indoors if needed.

During your stay
Hi im on hand when needed but keep myself to myself. You can message me on whats app, i will try to help with anything needed.

Other things to note
If you require continental breakfast consisting of plain or chocolate croissants homemade Damson jam & butter and orange juice please let me know the day before. The cost is £8 per person
We love mountain biking and love to share it, Shelley a local fully qualified guide offers a fun friendly service for all ability's, into some of the best trails into the Lake District National park. Please let me know the day before if you require this service. The cost varies depending on how many hours booked for £115 half day, £155 for full day for 2 people.
If you require paddle boards they can be booked through Stoked at Fellfoot park.

We are 10 minute drive to Lake Windermere in the Lake District National Park. Situated in a rural location , tucked out of the way down a private lane, in a true Lakeland village, 3 minute walk to the village store local pub. In the Village is a garden center which is worth a visit. Open studio's, where the famous Artist Fiona Clucas and sculpture Danny Clahane are based. We have stunning views from our Home to Whitbarrow Scar and the Noddle where you can see a 360 degree view of the surrounding area. We offer guided Mountain bike rides for all ability's with a fully qualified guide taking the stress out of deciding where to ride.(please contact me for details and to book).
It is just a 10 minute drive to Lake Windermere and the National Trust's Fellfoot Park.
It is 10 minutes from Farlton knott paragliding site.
It is 10 minutes from the river Kent for kayaking.
Other nearby attractions include the Lakeside & Haverthwaite steam railway, the Lakes Aquarium, Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserve (where ospreys nest). Cartmel and the race course are only 10 minute drive.
Grange over Sands on the coast is 5 minute drive where you can walk on the prom eat ice cream and feed the ducks at the duck pond.
We are 15 minute drive to the market town of kendal and the Factory, where theTap pub and brewery, Famous pottery @Rebeccacallisporcelain and @Bendodge print studio are all situated. You could participate in a print workshop, buy local pottery and drink award winning ale all in one place.
Farrer's coffee House is also in Kendal.
