What to say? Keith's house is the ideal place if you want to live an authentic experience. It's also very conveniently located close to Tremé, Marigny and Frenchmen street, away from the French Quarter craziness.

Keith instantly made me feel welcome, and was available via text for any question I had. His home is beautiful and lovingly cared for. I stayed in the Bordello room, which was furnished with beautiful antiques. Comfortable surroundings, lovely courtyard, conveniently located to a variety of local resteraunts, watering holes, coffee shops. This was a solo weekend trip for me and not once in all my wanderings did I feel uncomfortable or leary in this neighborhood. Highly recommend, you are in for a treat if you stay here.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had with AirBNB and in fact with lodging away from home in general. The property was gorgeous, inside and out. The backyard garden was breathtaking. The French Quarter was a close walk. Keith himself was a perfect host - easily accessible and full of knowledge about the city of New Orleans. We had the trip of a lifetime and it was very largely due to staying with Keith in the Antebellum Guest House.

This was an amazing experience that I was fortunate enough to stumble upon. This residence is essentially a historical treasure that has been cared for and curated by brilliant artists that obviously have a deep love and respect for this place as a home, as well as a piece of history. One morning I awoke to find these perfect little handmade eclairs laid out in a perfect star pattern on a silver platter. Next to it, a plate, silverware (that was perfectly polished) and a napkin neatly folded, and coffee. Great coffee. The following day I was treated to a traditional creole breakfast from a very old recipe that was absolutely excellent. I don't want to spot what it was for future guests, but let me just say Keith is a masterful chef. The artwork, the garden, the hundred plus year old rugs that were spotless, the proper glassware for every beverage imaginable...the magic of these details somehow coming together and yet never feeling stuffy or pretentious was probably what was most striking. Austere yet so strangely warm. Not only was the residence cared for in every detail, Keith and Art were very down to earth, informative, and welcoming. I very much enjoyed the company and insights of my hosts and we had many laughs. I hope to see my new friends again very soon. I was almost reluctant to write this review, because in my own head I'd already built a fantasy of the manor as a secret place who's gates are only open to strange artists, musicians, and other misfits seeking shelter from a bland, outside world. That's was how I perceived it. But in reality, this is a beautiful, deep, welcoming residence that many should see and enjoy. And its owners will surely be happy to accommodate any traveler who enters with good intentions and an open mind.

For first time visitors to New Orleans, Keith and his beautiful home couldn't have offered a more welcoming and authentic experience. Keith's love for the city is so genuine and unavoidably contagious. He made us feel like truly treasured guests and there is no question that any time we go back to New Orleans, we will be trying to stay in this gorgeous, historical place with our new friend, Keith. Thank you so much for having us! 5 stars and 4 thumbs up!
