The room is just as pictured in the listing: Very bright and clean. Overall the flat was just perfect. It's located north of the gay village, 2 subway stations from downtown (we preferred the 15min walk during our stay tbh). Sandra was extremely helpful and flexible. She offered us everything we might need and had some very helpful tips and suggestions about the city. 5 stars from me!

Response from Sandra:
the Guest booked the reservation 3 hours before coming and I did not feel safe enough to let him in so I had to cancel and this is not the first he tried to book in my place. His messages were creepy and I didn't feel comfortable.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Sandra's place during my first trip to Montreal for the F1 Grand Prix weekend! From our initial contact Sandra was quick to respond with detailed messages that put her ahead of the other places I was considering, and I eventually chose her apartment to be my first Airbnb experience. Sandra was home at my time of arrival and gave me a friendly greeting while showing me to my room. The entire apartment was very clean and the room was spacious with a large window. Sandra was very accommodating and made sure that I knew I could ask for anything that I'd like during my stay. I very much appreciated having a fan by my bed (I always sleep with one) and the constant availability of bottles of water. :) During my stay I was usually headed out in a rush to get to the F1 race track or to meet up with my friends downtown, but I was always offered coffee or tea which I thought was very nice. Sandra also gave me my own key which made coming and going very convenient. She was also easily reachable by phone and quick to respond by text if anything came up. The metro station was a very short walk from the apartment and there's a nice coffee/bakery shop on the way there at which I stopped at frequently. There's also a nice bistro just across from her building from where I had the best meal of my trip. So overall I was very happy with the location! Overall I wouldn't have changed a thing so a huge thanks to Sandra for making my first trip to Montreal a great time and I look forward to returning next year for another race and more poutine!

Sandra was incredible for so many reasons. I will try to keep this brief but give you the essence of my experience. To summarize, this was my first Airbnb experience and, because of Sandra, I may never go back to staying at a hotel ever again. She is an example of why Airbnb works and I highly recommend her as a host. I stayed at her place for three nights. She was responsive to my inquiry. She let me know her availability for me to arrive and was punctual and ready for my arrival. I arrived to a gracious smile. She immediately checked if I needed anything to drink, provided me the keys, and we started off with a quick conversation about what the nature of my trip was. I came to Montreal on a whim to discover the city with little-to-no plans. She let me know what she was up to and offered me along (because we got along so well right away). She offered to share her breakfast with me when we saw each other in the morning. The room was clean and offered exactly what I needed. Anything you could want, she had a solution for (Wi-fi, etc.). There is a balcony. The bathroom was very clean and Sandra is very organized. The building is clean and very secure. The location is excellent. You are a short walk away from the Metro station, restaurants, bars, clubs, and stores. I had rented a car and there was plenty of street parking. Sandra knows the city, and she had suggestions ready for me based on the type of person I am. I made a dozen new friends all because of her. I have fallen in love with the city in part because of people like her. She is colorful, sweet, amusing, and respectful. I consider her a friend for life and look forward to spending time with her in near future. I will never forget this trip. Many thanks to you, Sandra, if you read this. Merci beaucoup!

My experience at Sandra's place was absolutely amazing! She and her family are very sweet and considerate, and did so much more than they needed to. The place was sunny, clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable, too. If I ever come to Montreal, I would love to come stay at Sandra's again!!!
