The photos while accurate, don't do justice to the charm of this lovely spot on the beach. You can't beat the quartz sand of Siesta Key and you can't beat the setting of this home amidst the shade of the grape seed trees. You can sit from your veranda in the shade of the trees right on the beach and enjoy the sea air and then toddle on down to the water to swim. The bedroom windows open to the beach, so you fall asleep to the sound of the waves. It's in a quiet spot, so there is no beach party noise. The town is literally a 5 minute walk away with many restaurant, shopping and amenity options. We rented a bike and biked the beach every morning and explored Siesta Key beach including Plum Island which is a charming little island surrounded by lagoons. The house was decorated beautifully, colors were so soothing and the bathrooms newly done--very tastefully--not overdone. Fun activities: baseball spring training games, kyaking thru the mangroves, a Sunday sunset drumming circles for you leftover hippies. A great place to recharge!
