Room in a home

Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
Emporium Nights rooms are located in the heart of the smallest city in the UK.

Our three rustic and characterful Airbnb rooms are recently restored in a quirky, listed Art Deco building in the middle of St Davids. We are a foraging team, passionate about wild plants and algae and their use in food, skincare and health. We have many awards and most recently one for ‘regenerative tourism’ and caring for the environment. We recycle as much as possible including our characterful old building.

The space
Our largest room, Kelp, is one of three rooms on our top floor. It has a sumptuous, hand crafted, king-size bed and a spacious, stylish ensuite with walk-in shower. All three AirBnb rooms are in our recently rescued and restored, quirky, listed Art Deco building right in the middle of St Davids. From the bay window in the bedroom there is a wonderful view over the rooftops of St Davids to the coast and islands beyond Ramsey Sound.

We provide rooms only; breakfast is not included, but there will be coffee and tea sachets in your room and fresh milk in the fridge. Please let us know if you would prefer oat milk or dairy milk. We will also leave you some welcome nibbles, so please also let us know if you have any food intolerances.

You will be within comfortable strolling distance of all the shops, galleries, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and the famous historic St Davids Cathedral. Our very own Really Wild Restaurant is on the ground floor of the building and is usually open for coffee and cakes, light lunches and highly recommended evening dining - see our website for bookings.

The glorious Pembrokeshire Coast Path is easily reached on foot and offers spectacular walks along the cliffs. There are also sandy beaches close by where you can enjoy all sorts of water sports or just relax and watch everyone else.

The rooms includes free WiFi, a modern TV and silent mini fridge. The king-size beds are made up with quality bed linen and bath towels are provided. There is gas central heating throughout.

Guest access
The room is self contained and no facilities are shared.

Pretty much everything we do is about ‘The Wild’!

On the ground floor is a small intimate restaurant (open three or four evenings a week, do check as it varies!) and cafe during the day (check this for times also) and look us up on Trip Advisor.

We run foraging courses on the seashore and along the hedgerows.

There is also a shop on the first floor (with take away coffee, tea and hot chocolate 10am - 3pm daily) in the same building. This is also the home of the Really Wild Soap & Skincare Company where we make hand-made, artisan natural soap and skincare products from scratch, so hopefully you will love the mixture of scents when you enter the building. You will find samples of our soap and shampoo in your ensuite shower room.

We do not currently take dogs except assistance dogs.

Rooms are for one or two adults but we welcome couples with a babe-in-arms (not yet crawling).

There is parking close at hand at Oriel y Parc (the National Park Visitor Centre) a little further up the High Street and two other available carparks at Quickwell Hill and Merrivale.

During your stay
This working building and staff are available at all times during the day. The owners live just 5 minutes down the road in Goat Street and can respond promptly to all your needs during your stay. Their local knowledge and advice is invaluable in making the most of your stay.

Business
The Really Wild Emporium is in the High Street of St Davids. We have three very characterful rooms, all with en-suite: Dulse, Laver and Kelp. The rooms are named after local seaweeds that we forage for on the local beaches and that form key elements in the food in our restaurant and also in our beauty and skincare products.
