A traditional welsh cottage with a fabulous new extension providing picturesque views of the Cleddau Estuary. A short walk along the coastal path provides access to the beach below the house. A quiet lane leads back to the local village of Cosheston with its famous pub. With its large open plan living area and easy access bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and three further bedrooms and two bathrooms on the lower ground floor the house is perfect for a family holiday in Pembrokeshire.
The space
Leward Cottage has an open plan kitchen living room on the first floor. Beyond this is a wet room style shower room and bedroom with king size bed, meaning the property benefits from excellent disabled access.
Going downstairs into the old cottage are the three further bedrooms - the master has a king size bed and en-suite with bath (no shower).
There is also a twin room and a bunk room. The family bathroom offers walk in shower as well as a freestanding bath. A separate laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and clothes airer is also on this floor.
Please note we do not except bookings for 8 adults. The property is suitable for a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children.
It is very important that, owing to car park spaces, there is a
Maximum of 3 cars at anytime.

The property is accessed by a steep private driveway. Most of the driveway is laid to tarmac however a small section is track.

HOT TUB
We provide towels for showering/bathing but you will need to bring your own beach/hot tub towels.
Isn’t available on the final evening of your stay if we have new guests arriving the same day as your departure.

Neighbourhood highlights
There are excellent woodland and water-front walks directly from the cottage. The Brewery Inn in Cosheston has an outstanding reputation for food, local ale, gin and hospitality.
The historic town of Pembroke and its Castle, the birthplace of Henry VII, is 3 miles away. The is a variety of shops both in Pembroke and its neighbour Pembroke Dock which has several supermarkets.
Pembrokeshire is renowned for its 186 miles of coastal footpath and there are variety of wonderful beaches within an easy drive of the cottage. In spring and summer its also possible to visit the bird sanctuary Island of Skomer which has an enormous variety of breeding sea birds including the only increasing population of breeding puffins in the UK.
The various sea safaris available can also offer a unique insight into the secret lives of shearwaters, grey seals and dolphins.
